Outrigger hotels in Coral Coast, Fiji

"Our beachfront room was spacious with kitchenette, bedroom nice and large, but unfortunately, due to lack of ventilation, there was a lot of condensation in the bathroom - leading to mould on tiles. Our key swipe failed on three occasions, and waiting for maintenance in the heat and humidity was not ideal. The plunge pool was magnificent, and we spent every day there. Buffet breakfast was always fresh and yummy. The restaurants there are fantastic, with freshly cooked meals for any taste."

"We stayed at the reef buree and the roo was very good. It was nice to have a golf cart to cruise around the grounds. A 9 hole golf course was also a plus and the course was in good condition. The main downside is that there’s not much of a beach to speak of. "

"Very friendly and helpful staff. Most of the staff lived in the village next door which was lovely, as we were able to to experience the village such seeing their church, village hall and some of the ladies who lived there and their Handicrafts. Food selection was average, but the chefs was happy to cook food to order if there wasn't anything suitable on the menu. Room was clean and tidy with air con and a lovely outdoor shower. Location was a bit secluded but was on a beautiful beach front with another resort further along the beach. "

"We went during the off season so it wasn't as busy. Everything from the room to the staff to the location was fantastic. If I were to nit-pick at something, it might be the selection of foods, ie the menu. I wished it had more options for local cuisines. It was nice that there were basics like pancakes and hamburgers, and some better yummies like curries and steak... but I really only saw 2 items that were considered local. Again, this is only if I were to look for something to complain about. :) The best naan I had ever eaten was here. It was amazing. Sooo good. I think I could have just eaten naan here and be happy. The room was comfortable - bed, air conditioning, TV, bathroom, and floor space. If you wanted to sit down, it was on the patio. We brought a chair inside to sit not on the bed. The staff made the resort welcoming. A ready smile and joke. The beach was gorgeous. Don't forget your sunblock. Yikes. They gave us a scoop of soothing lotion for our burns. It smelled wonderful. As you walk on the beach, locals may approach you to offer massages and horseback riding. The cost is much cheaper than the resort, according to another patron we talked with. But I went with the resort massage and left happy. One note: We reserved the Ocean View Bure. It just meant that if we walked outside and turned right, we can see the ocean. If you want to see the ocean from your room, it's the beachfront bure. Mis-leading and disappointing, but we let it go and enjoyed. "
