"My husband and I and our two shelties loved every minute of our peaceful stay. We loved watching boats coming in and out. The sunsets were gorgeous. The

Fisherman's Family Home, New Listing, in the fishing village of Corea.

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (36)
"This was my first experience with a VRBO property. The house is old and needs a little work. However, that did not stop us from enjoying our stay. This home is COMFORTABLE. Pam, the owner, was always prompt in responding to requests. She even had some pet supplies we needed for our
dogs
:). The area is really quant with a really good local (non tourist) feel. Lots of places to walk and see. Not sure we will be back, there is a lot of this beautiful country to see. But, if we do, we will...

Saltwater Serenade Priv SANDY beach with Bayview for Miles

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (4)
"We had an absolutely fabulous stay - My only feedback is that Ellsworth is NOT 20 minutes away, and Winter Harbor isn't 10 minutes away - it's 45 and 20 respectively, so plan ahead for supplies, it's not as quick of a jaunt to the store as we had anticipated - though there are smaller grocery stores closer than Ellsworth. The Cabin was lovely, the beach was incredible, and the setting was amazing. We will be back! "

4-Bedroom Family-Friendly Pet-Friendly Oceanfront Home in Downeast Maine

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (23)
"Cleanest home I’ve ever stayed in. They have thought of everything you might need. Such a relief. If you are looking for something, just open another drawer, you’ll find it. The house is newly renovated, well designed. Peaceful. The yard is great for the pups. I loved watching the tides. The birds, the lobster boats. The sun rise, awesome. Did I mention the bed. OMG. Best sleep ever. Not sure it was the bed or the sea air. Definitely going again. Also, first floor has master plus a queen room....

"House was very clean, very well stocked, with lots of space and different areas. We were only two people, but I can imagine large groups doing well here as there are so many nicely furnished rooms to break into. Loved the beach a short walk away! Communications were easy and quick with very caring host."
