La Chataîgne is a real family home: open, warm and welcoming. The house is surrounded by terraces and shaded pergolas giving several options for meals or recreation. The large swimming pool in the garden is sufficiently distant to allow a quiet siesta while others choose to swim.
Built with natural materials there reigns a soothing and serene atmosphere. The living areas indoors are spacious and welcoming.
The house is located on a soft hill covered with cypresses and olive trees, away from the crowds. At few km away from the center of Corfu town and from beaches, it's position is ideal.

Corfu is a small town of 30 000 inhabitants, very lively all year round. The city received a Venetian imprint, with small alleys full of charm, lots of taverns, restaurants, cafes, small shops of every kind. There prevails a very mediterranean atmosphere with a friendly, gentle and absolutely non violent attitude.
