"The little town of Doolin was a wonderful surprise, we hiked to the cliffs from here and heard the best Irish music of our trip. The house was very comfortable and spacious and walking distance to town. We had a bit of an issue with check in but the owner was very responsive and handled it quickly. "Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might...
