Our stay at the Buffalo Lodge was amazing. The space is beautiful and the views are stunning. The owners are incredibly kind and went over and above to help make our stay a great one. I'd highly recommend and hope to return in the future.

My wife and stayed at Buffalo Lodge for two nights. The lodge is simply immaculate with an unforgettable view of Coromandel and evening sunset. E. and A. were fantastic hosts. Always friendly and informative. The breakfast was simple but adequate and healthy. Navigating the driveway is not ideal for inexperienced drivers. It is narrow and very steep. We considered it as part of the Coromandel adventure. We would definitely stay with E. and A. again at Buffalo Lodge if we are in the area again.

Absolutely outstanding

AMAZING. If you wish a luxurious, private and unique stay, then this is the place. We didn’t really know what to expect but thought the location and view on the photos looked nice. This is a fantastic cabin, with spectacular views, high standard, very elegant and luxurious choice of furniture. Lovely bedroom+private bathroom. The huge balcony, kitchen, and dining area was shared but as we were only three couples at the cabin it felt almost as if it was all ours. The host Abby greeted us and showed us the cabin when we arrived. Toni, the chef, served us a homemade delicious breakfast every morning. Restaurants available a few minutes by car. We wanted to spend the night at the cabin to watch the amazing sunset so we cooked ourselves or brought some take away instead. We strongly recommend Buffalo Lodge and the surroundings. We regret not staying longer. This will be the highlight of our 4 week NZ trip. Thank you

Wunderschöne Lodge mit toller Aussicht

Die Buffalo Lodge in Coromandel ist durch einen kurzen Fahrweg auf einem Hügel gelegen erreichbar. Der Ausblick ist sensationell, was durch die sehr großen Fenster in den Zimmern und den öffentlichen Bereichen sowie durch die Terasse noch imposanter wird. Das Zimmer (Premium-Doppelzimmer) war sehr groß und mit einem guten Bett. Bad mit Dusche war auch gut. Wichtig für den Sommer: Es gibt keine Klimaanlage. Das Frühstück wurde frisch zur gewünschten Zeit zubereitet und war sehr gut, mit allerlei hausgemachten Leckereien. Als öffentliche Bereiche gibt es zwei Wohnzimmer, einen Essbereich und eine große Terrasse, alles toll gestaltet und mit Spielen und Bluetooth Audio versehen. Der Zustand ist allgemein sehr gut. Parkplätze sind ausreichend vorhanden. Die Freundlichkeit war einwandfrei.

La maison est niché dans un écrin de verdure avec une vue magnifique sur la baie de Coromandel. L'organisation de la maison permet de partager des moments avec les autres hôtes. L'hôtesse nous accueille avec sourire et se met en quatre pour que nous soyons biens et est très riche de conseils pour visiter les alentours.

Die Buffalo Lodge thront über Coromandel, was zu einer traumhaften Aussicht führt. Die Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam und unglaublich nett, morgens gibt es ein leckeres Frühstück mit einigen selbst gemachten Köstlichkeiten und man kann sich sogar Schaufeln für Hot Water Beach ausleihen. Einziger Kritikpunkt für mich, dass das Zimmer sehr hellhörig war. Ansonsten war es ein toller Aufenthalt und die Lodge ist nur zu empfehlen. Vielen Dank!
