"The resort was amazing. We stayed in a beach cottage sea view and it was so relaxing. The resort is boutique and very intimate. We felt so relaxed from the moment we arrived till the moment we left. The pool is quite small but more than enough to take a dip and swim around. The beds in the water on the second pool were a bonus. Very chic. We always got a bed lounge to sit on. The sunsets at the resort are amazing and people come from all over the area to see it and eat at the beautiful restaurant We found the food very tasty and ate there most breakfast lunches and dinner we were in the rssort . We found it so easy and the prices were so reasonable. There are alot restaurants in the area too which are a short walk away. Bella vita pizza in paricular is just as good as pizza you get in italy. I read that the beach was not nice, but for us it was really stunning. The water was shallow but was very clear. More than enough for a swim, you just had to walk out a bit. The staff are super friendly and they made our stay so memorable. I dont think You will be dissapointed if you stay here. Its probably the most relaxing place we have been to and we are very well travelled staying at alot of 4 and 5 star hotels and resorts. This place punches well above its star rating. Thank you to all staff and manageement for making our stay so memorable. A bonus is that tour a and c depart from the beach out the front of the resort."

"What a wonderful stay we had in the Jaglo 1 Villa. From the check-in to the checkout, everything was absolutely wonderful. The Philippines spirit of hospitality is very apparent and the staff goes out of their way to make their guests very happy. I would highly recommend staying here for anybody visiting El Nido. Be aware it is on a mountain side so very hilly. If you cannot walk comfortably up hills and down hills, you will struggle to stay at this property. Thank you again to the entire team at Karuna!!!"

"We stayed here with our 8-month-old baby, and the staff absolutely loved her! We had a room on the bottom floor, which worked great with the stroller; however, the hotel isn't accessible, meaning you need to use the stairs to get around the hotel, which was a bit annoying with the stroller but doable for us. Also, there are paving slabs to the rooms on the bottom floor, which isn't so stroller friendly. The room itself was lovely! There was a bit of a weird smell in the bathroom area—but you kind of got used to this. They provided a baby cot as well, which was great. The mini bar is well priced; you need to call to get this restocked. The housekeeping to tidy the room daily came late afternoon (4/5pm) which was a little annoying as it's when our baby napped. Staff are wonderful here. It was my birthday, and they had made a display on the bed for when we arrived, complete with a slice of chocolate cake! That was so unexpected and such a nice touch! On my actual birthday too, they did the same with the towels and leaf writing. The breakfast was ok too; there was an omelette station, which we used most days. The service for lunch is a bit slow—whether you're eating in the restaurant or on the beds. They often don't have some things, so prepare a backup option! But the lunch food is good and well made. The pool is lovely; the water isn't as crystal clear as I would have expected, but we swam in it no problem. The pool area is small, but we were never unable to get a bed. "
