Introducing Barefoot Bungalow SPV26. Situated on Alister Street, this property is just a short distance away from the grocery store, restaurants, bars and other shopping. It is also conveniently located near Beach street which is a beach access road. These cottages have been a fixture in Port Aransas for many years and offer a truly unique location. The kitchen offers a cook-top stove, microwave and full size refrigerator. There is a spacious screened porch for dining, card games, or to enjoy the gulf breezes.
Please note: This community does not allow boats or trailers of any kind. A maximum of two standard size vehicles are allowed. Golf carts count as one of the two vehicles. STR#524874

- A two-night minimum stay is required.
- The minimum age requirement for reserving and check in is 25. A signed rental agreement with the host and a copy of the contracting guest's drivers license is required

- Cable and Wi-Fi service in Port Aransas can be unreliable due to the unique coastal environment in which we live. We appreciate your understanding that these services are beyond our control. No discounts or refunds will be given for service disruptions.
- This is a PET-FRIENDLY RENTAL. Pet fees are an additional $20.00+tax, per pet, per night. A maximum of 3 pets are allowed. No pets over 20lbs. Additionally, a pet-cleaning fee is also charged, which is $50 for stays of 7 days or less, $75 for stays of 8-29 days, and $100 for stays of 30 or more days.

The cleanliness was okay, the change of elevation into the door way and shower need some type of yellow tape or warning. Not a typical step up height of the entry door, fell trying to get in. The shower was very tiny, and the step down into the shower was a bit unnerving as it’s dark and not very visible. Other than those two things, the host was super responsive, very kind and helpful. It was pet friendly which was a big deal for us. As far as general quick stay for the beach it gets the job done.

Location, location, location!!!

The Spanish Village cottages are perfectly located to allow for easy access to everything in Port Aransas. The cottage we selected was perfect for two people. The large covered and screened in patio was enjoyable for having breakfast al fresco. Care and attention to pest control might be in order for property management, as the first two days were pest free, but subsequent days was unnerving to say the least.

Sweet Little House

Great place to stay for a small family with little kids. There is a door on the bedroom so you’re able to block them off in the evening and can hang out on the porch! Also a really walkable locations with the shops on the same street.

We stayed two night and the bungalow was clean. Close to restaurants and you can walk to them as well. Having a yard was awesome for our fur baby. Will be back again I am sure.

Around everything only thing that needs updates is bathroom

We enjoy our stay it was close to everyone who came out with us and around the shops and beach. Only thing I would complain about is the bathroom is small and needs to be redone the tile grout shoots out water and there is no vent other then that it was a great stay

There was a leak thru the ceiling fan in the middle of the night but was fixed quickly the next day & new sheets & towels provided. The fences were too short for our golden retrievers, but small dogs would be fine here. We were on a budget with the dogs so it was fine for the money. The best part was the screened in porch. Loved it!

Great location!

This property is in a great location with bars and some restaurants all within walking distance. They yard was well maintained and my dog enjoyed running around. The inside was nice but much smaller than I imagined from the pictures. The WiFi went out about 5 pm on our last night and didn’t come back on until about 11 pm. While I realize it was due to a spectrum outage and out of the owners hands, a little refund would have been nice. There is no cable and wasn’t able to stream anything while the cable was out.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have stayed in this property at 4-5 times and have always loved it. This time however I do have a few complaints. The convection oven stopped working while cooking my bacon. It eventually came back on about 20 minutes later so I’m guessing maybe it just got overheated. The drain in the shower was draining so slow I ended up with about 3-4 inches of water in the bottom of the shower by the time I was done. The welcome sign said there were tumbler cups for us to take home but there were none there (last time we stayed in that place there were some).

Reviewer Comments: we enjoyed our stay but were disappointed in the spv26 barefoot bungalow the ac would barely keep the room cool, the front door would not stay closed unless the dead bold was locked, the window ac was not sealed good there was electrical tape and part of a tea bag box to seal around window ac. we had to cleanup dog poop in the yard to keep from stepping in it there are mouse poop under the bed, flying bugs came in every night and big roaches in the room, I never complain about places we stay but this place needs alot of attention. We still enjoyed our overall stay.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall it was a pleasant stay for the weekend. There was just a few things that were unfavorable. First the hot water barely works. Had to take cold showers. Also in this cottage they made the shower a little bigger but rest of the bathroom cramped. The shower has a leak causing water to go all over the floor, we had to put towels down for the water. We've stayed in a few cottages on Spanish Village probably won't stay here again. We did love the yard, it was perfect for our little dog. Bed was comfortable as was the futon couch.
