Introducing Le Chateau TS202. Secluded storybook cottage hidden in old town Port A! Listen to the ocean from the screened patio. Take an outdoor shower by moonlight. Have a glass of wine in your very own "she shed". Bring your furry friends. There is even a doggie door. Come and experience the tranquility of this home. The bedroom offers a fabulous king bed, and there is a sleeper sofa in the living room. Please be aware there is an external camera facing the driveway. STR#184316

Cute, cozy home

This house was so cute! Me and my husband stayed here for a weekend with our 2 dogs and it was very peaceful. The yard is perfect for your fur babies and we loved having the enclosed porch! Close to the beach, private, and no loud noise it made for a nice stay.

Perfect house for 2

We stayed with our dogs and it was so perfect! The screened patio was our favorite place. Even with the wind blowing hard, you couldnt feel it at all. Theres a lot more room than anticipated too

Excellent location to restaurants and beach

Loved the cottage feel and the sunroom was the bonus as well as a yard for my dog. The cottage was decorated in good taste. If I were to make a recommendation it would be to replace the stove, refrigerator, sofa and maybe even the bed. Very outdated. Ice maker did not work etc etc.

Location always excellent. Older home but kept up pretty well. AC works great! Small yard for dogs. Bed and furniture very comfortable. The cleaning company could have done a better job as the floor was dirty and needed to be mopped when we arrived.

Overall the place was great! It had room for our dog, a doggie door and fenced yard! Walked to the beach in about ten minutes. The house was built in the 1970’s. Will need a bit of work on the floor around the shower, and could use a bit more TLC on the yard and plants in the front yard. Planning on on going back soon!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Having to go and pickup 3 keys in 2024 seems antiquated. Port A Escapes employees were friendly and informative. We added an extra night when they reached out about the unit being available. The unit itself needs a little TLC- most noticeable was the kitchen utensils (3 knives total!?) and the bed itself. Great location and the fenced in backyard is why we book!

Cons 1.the grass needed to be mowed making it hard to do poop patrol 2. There were ants in the kitchen/living room. 3. The a/c was not functioning fully requiring the use of portable a/c units and "hot spots" in the house. Pros - 1. Pet could join us. 2. Location close to food, beach and activities. 3. Well supplied with dishes, toiletries etc. 4. Property management was responsive and very friendly.
