"Sand Angel" is Poolside and Across the Street From the Beach!

Sand Angel is located at one of North Padre Island's newest resort Padre Beach View. This resort is located across the street from Whitecap beach. Sand Angel is one of only 5 units on the pool.

First floor is an open concept living room, dining area and kitchen with oversized granite island. Half bath on first floor. All 3 bedrooms are located upstairs along with a loft area. Master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and a balcony overlooking the pool and has a great view of the beach.

Large salt water pool with seating around 1 side with jets to help relax away your stress. Other side is a shallow shelf so the kids or adults can lounge in the water. Sit in the shade at one of the picnic tables or in a chair throughout the pool deck. Pits available around pool area. Beach is right across the street. 2 reserved parking spaces right in front of the back door for easy loading and unloading.

Overall impression of the property was good. Things that would take it to a 5 star review would be: enforecement of pool rules, 2 occasions of loud music last night people were in the pool at 2am; and blackout curtains in all bedrooms.

This is a great location-and a lovely condo. Great access to the pool-and to the beach. We would stay here again. Parking was perfect also. There was some issue with cleanliness in the upstairs hall bathroom. Long dark Hair in the drain in the tub. The pool area had an issue with the chain for the shower-it was too short to use. Also-no TP in the pool bathroom. One night people were in the pool til 11:00 pm and had to be asked to be quiet. We were happy that check out was at 11:00 and not 10 am!

Long weekend

Good space and amenities. Pool just outside door. Long walk to beach if you have older people or very young kids. Place would be nice but needs deep cleaning. Dust everywhere, sandy floors, sheets not clean on beds. Towels need replacing.

Great spot close to Whitecap Beach!

We had a lovely time at this property. It is close to whitecap beach and the National seashore, so beach access is definitely a plus! I was quite disappointed in the quality of the bath towels and sheets on the beds, as they are very cheap and old. It was also clear that no one has done a deep clean in a while, as there were ants in the kitchen and living room, and children’s socks and toys beneath the living room table and under couches.

Okay condo, not great

This condo is only okay for the following reasons (pros and cons).Kitchen: not many dishes or glasses, nonstick pans are so scraped up they can't be used, no spices or supplies other than salt/pepper, dishwasher is at end of useful lifeBedrooms: beds are NOT comfortable, sheets are old and don't fit well anymore, beds are squeaky and mattresses worn outBathrooms: decent, clean, no shampoo or conditioner, only hand soap availableLiving room: decent couches, plenty of sitting optionsPool: warm enough to swim but not comfortable on a day cooler than 75F, only being cleaned twice weekly so a lot of debris blows inBeach: close enough to walk to (there is a stretch of 50yards along a busy road, but not too bad), a few beach toys are available but no beach towelsManagement: communicates quickly during booking process but after that not much. I didn't have any huge issues to report but he didn't even respond to text on the day we left letting him know we checked outOverall: it was fine, we wouldn't stay here again unless basic upgrades are made

Nice stay

We enjoyed a comfortable vacay here with 3 adults and 4 children. We liked the unit’s location to the pool (steps away from back door). The beach is within walking distance, but if you have to haul stuff for children the drive on beach is very convenient. There is an outdoor shower by the pool and a hose at the back of the unit for rinsing off after beach. The unit was clean, comfortable and cute. We would return in future.

Excellent rental

What you see is what you get. The place was very clean when we got there. It had more than enough space for all 7 of us. Had a little problem opening the main door the second day, but it was really nothing. Randy came over as soon as I communicated and fixed it. Thank you Randy,. We had a blast!

Crashing waves

Sand Angel was the perfect fit for my family. We were able to hear the crashing waves from the upstairs balcony. The pool was magnificent. The proximity to the beach was within minutes.

My family rented this condo. Likes: It was clean, and right next to the beach with a lovey view. The pool outside was also nice and clean. The house was well supplied with kitchenware and other things. Plenty of bathrooms, too. Dislikes: Pillows outdated, bring your own. Mattress on bunk bed needs to be replaced. There is no keriug but a coffee pot. Overall 5/5. Great place, kids would love it.

Great Gulf Townhouse

The place was exactly as described. 3 bedrooms upstairs and a great open downstairs with kitchen and living room. Pool is right outside the backyard and a short walk to the beach. The place was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Highly recommended if you are staying on the island.
