"Everything! This an absolute 10! The attention to every detail is amazing. The small hotel is beautifully decorated with a true Scottish theme. The rooms are spacious. Very comfotable bed. Bathroom has large luxurious towels and amenities. A coffee machine, real cups and saucers and snacks in the room. We have never had such an amazing breakfast, despite travelling for many years all over the world! Charming dining room, lovely china. A great experience"

"Staff attentive and courteous, homely atmosphere, great cuisine touching on scottish heritage. Clean, quiet rooms and authentic place with soul. Excellent location to Glenshee and what a pleasure to be by the river. "

"Hotel was clean and warm with lovely decor, seemed to have been recently decorated. Staff service at breakfast was superb , as was the food from the varied menu. It was also great that they encouraged us to bring takeaway back to the lounge when their own restaurant is not serving - a good way to support neighbouring businesses. "

"The bathroom was clean, and the bed sheets were clean, with a lovely smell even in the morning. Heating was on all night, so it wasn't cold in the morning, and after skiing at Glenshee, that warmth was lovely. The fireplace downstairs was so good, and we had a nice chat and watched TV. Great breakfast, and we also had dinner. I got lovely lasagna. The breakfast room looks lovely with a lot of paintings. Books are around, and a lot of small details. It is a new ownership, so they are really working hard to improve the place, and overall, we were so happy there. We would strongly recommend the place and hope to come back again."

"Location and provision of Garden Room 723 was excellent with private parking , fenced garden and direct access to garden and a patio with a seat/table (nt season to sit out) Well equipped room with a full, well equipped kitchen, spacious, beyond our expectation's. Food in Bar was excellent quality and value, food and overall experience in restaurant was 8/10, due staff experience, order mistakes. Location great for dog walks in grounds and locally, short walk or drive to town centre, which was thriving and busking, unlike many town centres these days. Comparing to Crieff hydro,similar quality resort but we now prefer the APH!"
