"If you enjoy peace, tranquillity, the Italian countryside, and an ethos that embraces sustainability (without any compromise on a luxury experience) then this is your spirit home away from home. The facility and surrounding countryside is stunning. The staff are exceptional, friendly and knowledgeable about the produce and the experience on offer. The food was outstanding in both the restaurants, and the fact that all produce used in the restaurants is sourced from no more than 20 miles away (although most is self produced on the property) is testament to the outstanding chefs working there. The pool was beautiful, the rooms were luxurious without being over the top. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the shower was great and the whole complex was always spotlessly clean. I cannot speak highly enough about this little piece of heaven on earth. If you like partying this isn’t the place for you. But if you are looking for a place to wind down and enjoy the peace and some beautiful food, then you won’t be able to help but love it here. "

"With 21 of us, we thoroughly enjoyed the many bedrooms each with a bathroom, the large living spaces, ample table seating. The grounds were lovely and the swimming pool was wonderful to swim in each day. The views from the villa are stunning! Also, the villa is furnished with beautiful historic furnishings. Alessandro, our host, was extremely helpful and accessible!"

"Very nice place in the middle of Tuscany. The views are fantastic, the calmness and the beautiful nature likewise. The house standard was good and Nicola (the owner) was very service minded and fixed things whenever it was needed. You need a car to make trips both to the near supermarket and to places far away. We made many trips to different places and it took 45-60 min to each place which is a little too long maybe, but we also enjoyed staying at the villa and had barbecue a couple of times, which was good."

"This rental was clean, airy, spacious and well supplied. There were insect screens on the doors and a large parking place. There was a private outside dining area and private sun beds. There was free use of the pool, which was exceptional, exactly as shown in the photos and which was shared with the family living in the house of which the rental was part. The whole site is in a wood and accessed via a steep dirt track - a car is essential. Everyone was very friendly and we enjoyed our stay here."

"Unfortunately we had a really unpleasant experience in such a beautiful place. We lived in an apartment right above the party room of the restaurant. We spent there three nights of which two were wrecked by the loud celebration (music and shouting) of parties having fun until abt 2 am (the first night) and until abt 1 am (the second night). After the first night we complained about this and a free dinner was offered to us. This was a quite nice gesture which we were happy for. When asking whether there will be a similar situation with our remaining nights, we were informed that there was going to be people also on the second night but that there would be much fewer of them and that the music would be on the background until 11:30 pm. Unfortunately this was not the case and we had to stay awake on the second night also until abt 1 am. Luckily on the third night the restaurant was closed and we finally managed to sleep one night in peace. All this left a bad taste for this visit and as such we wouldn't dare to recommend the place... so if you are planning to visit this place, make sure that you would not take the 3-room apartment in the 1st floor closest to the parking lot before you make sure that there will not be any parties below that apartment during your stay. "
