Everything was nice and clean and the partial ocean view was amazing. Though it was very clean, because of the age of the property and some furniture items it did feel a little rundown and very used. The rooms themselves could use a bit of an upgrade. The location and pool and lounging beds/chairs were very up to date and clean and the caves straight to the beach is such a plus to have!

The Bristol fit my needs as a work traveler and use of city's convention center. It was a healthy walk to convention halls but weather was beautiful for it. I used city bus from airport and easy with stop close to hotel. Light rails also close by. Hotel a few blocks off main Gaslamp hustle bustle. Property was unique and not like corporate cookie cutter. It had a boutique hotel feel. Hotel was undergoing some renovations in lobby area but it did not affect my rest in my room. Would recommend

The hotel was very clean. Staff were excellent. Rooms comfortable and contained everything needed. Little Italy was walkable . The only complaint was room layout gusting could have been brighter. The breakfast selection was also good and reasonably priced.
