Has been upgraded a bit, just not finished off. Had lots of electrical plugs. Very, very small. Bed was good. Grounds dirty as were walkways. Lots of packaged on the go type breakfast items.
Blinds were broken and not fixed during our two night stay. There was a dead bug and bloodstain in the tub. The room was small, no desk. The ice machine was out of order. Otherwise OK. Would not go back.
Stayed 3 nights and never received maid service or clean towels. They told us that our stay happened in-between maid service even though the rooms all around us were serviced. They couldn't accommodate our first floor request and stairs to second floor were steep with open grating. Had to carry our dog upstairs and were constantly worried that my 84 yr. old, unstable husband would fall. Our last night there, we were kept awake by a man snoring in the next room. Thin walls! The breakfast fare was above average and was very good.

Very clean! Can hear people in other rooms, thin walls? Kind staff! Smells very clean,no smoking room!
The carpet smelled like dog. There was food on the floor and garbage on the night stand. They have clearly been doing renovations but the doors to the rooms didn’t fit (large gap at the top) and the fan in the bathroom didn’t but made all kinds of noise.
The complimentary breakfast was alright.
Staff were friendly, room was clean, bed was comfortable. Down side was room was noisy with next door tv attached to adjoining wall ..right where the beds are placed. When not busy I can’t understand why a room cannot be left vacant in between
This always my go to stay when I visit the Cortez area. Its very clean, friendly and a great spot close enough to go grab a bite to eat around town. The continental breakfast is always superb! Strongly recommend staying here!
This was a good room for a quick stopover with parking beside the door. Breakfast was available with waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc, but no meat (bacon or sausage).
I was fine with the room, but, I had two complaints: The wifi only works in the lobby, not in the rooms, and also, there is a dangerous drop as you exit your room onto the concrete. Watch your step!
Heat and phone in room did not work. It is a little cold out for a room with no heat. They had no extra blankets either. We were offered a 20% discount for the inconvenience.
This is a no frills. working man's hotel. The rooms are smallish but adequate. The parking lot is big enough to hold work trailers. The breakfast is standard for a hotel like this and sufficient. There is easy access from the highway. I could not work the alarm clock properly and so it woke me at midnight instead of 5 am. Staff were friendly and helpful.
I had a single room and though it was very tiny, it was very clean and extremely comfortable. Nice size bathrooms, Shower and tub. Only downside was that they had other than Yogurt, Their Breakfast was just Carbs with no Protein… a Simple Hard boiled egg would have made all the difference in their breakfast.
Our room was clean and comfortable for a stop along our way. I would prefer a hard surfaced floor over carpet, but happy our pet was welcomed. Walls were a bit thin, as I could hear people talking next door. Comfortable temperature without noisy heater/ac. Easy to find on main road.
We booked a suite and it was a good setup. Some of the furniture was dated but the place was very clean.
The front desk during check in should bring that the cleaning of the room required a request to be done and not rely on sign. Would recommend the place.
Highly recommend the Farmers Bistro on main street for dinner.
