Sanitized! Creekside Cottage sits over Creek Woods, Looking into Park! Pets OK
2 BR cabin, on the creek, here at the Garden of Eden Cabins called; Creekside Cottage. Sitting 50 feet above "Greenbrier Creek", bordering the park! Walk through the sliding glass doors onto porch, which is railed, you get kind of a tree house effect, with the creek right below! There is a small pick-nick table, 4 stools, glider swing, 2 rockers and BBQ grill! Pet Friendly (over 1yr & under 90lbs) at a nominal cost ($25)! You are engulfed in the presence of nature. With the moss covered rocks and sound of the creek taking front stage, with the mature forest around you. Located on 10 acres, 17 miles NE of Gatlinburg, in a little community called Cosby. The living room, having sliding glass doors that opens to the balcony of the cabin that overhangs the creek, with a picnic table, BBQ grill, rocking chairs & swing. The cabin has been updated with a faux stone fireplace with a flat screen TV that sits atop the faux wood mantel. The desk and older TV has been removed! Well suited for 2-4 people & don't forget, your pets are Welcome! We have a private road that circles the property that you can walk through the woods, around garden area or down by the the creek with pick nick table, chairs, fire-pit (fire wood available on site) and hammock! Sport fishing (barb-less hooks) on site! Being a scenic, relatively undeveloped, no red light, mountain drive, taking exactly 25 min. into downtown Gatlinburg. We have the Cosby Campground/Trail-head Entrance and the Foothills Parkway into the park just 3 miles and the Greenbrier and Big Creek (Whitewater Rafting) Entrances just 20 min. away! One of the best locations to access the park. It allows you to get out of the brick and mortar but close enough when you wont to go to town! We have several restaurants, 2 Dollar Generals within 5 miles and a Wall Mart within 20 min. in a "non - tourist" town of Newport, Tn. This is the "Back Door" to the G-burg, Pigeon Forge area offering the best of nature & entertainment!

Met the owner at check-in, he was very knowledgeable concerning the area and hikes we would enjoy. The cabin was very clean and met all of our expectations. Though the cabin is very close to the owner’s residence, because of the trees around us it felt very secluded. The creek running next to the cabin provided a great place to relax, where outdoor sitting and a hammock were provided. The view was gorgeous and the drive from the main road to the cabin provides a winding drive to the property which is beautiful.

The property was beautiful and there was a lot that could be explored on the property. Host was very informative to local areas. We had a great stay!
Chris was at the cabin to greet us when we arrived. He spent time telling us about the area and we really enjoyed talking with him. The cabin was extremely clean and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped so that we were able to cook all of our meals. The cabin is simple inside but it’s a beautiful hideaway in the woods with a lovely creek below the cabin. If you open the bedroom window, the sound of the water will lull you to sleep. We highly recommend this stay for anyone wanting to get away to a quiet secluded spot off the beaten track.
Pictures and description very accurate! Wonderful secluded cabin perched 100 feet above mountain creek…. The sound of the creek was so soothing and a perfect way to fall asleep! Forget the Gatlinburg crowds and get back to enjoying nature and mountain beauty!
We enjoyed our stay! Chris was the best host. He is right next door but it was still very private, surrounded by very natural & untouched forest.
Definitely a good choice if you love nature!
Overall, this was a nice little getaway. Far enough from the crowds of Gatlinburg, but still plenty to do if you wish. Going creeking was a great time! Possible bear sightings! Peaceful! Low key house rules, beautiful setting, and friendly owner were also pros. Cons: use your unlimited data; the wifi errors out every time, oven temp is guesswork, limited stove burners. Overall, a quite enjoyable stay!
Roads are a little scary into the place.but hello waterfalls and creek right outside your cabin and a porch we hardly left.chris was so patient with all my questions and visting 9 grandchildren.you have a full.kitchen to cook so why leave the cabin lol
Property has backwoods feel but is right of the main road. 25 min to gatlinburg 35 to pigeon forge. Even though it was further then we wanted from those areas the rate difference was well worth it. Just an FYI this cabin is within arms reach of the owners personal home (literally), but he was no bother and we barely seen him or anyone else at the property so we did feel secluded. The home definitely needs some updates, we struggled with some of the space heaters and the window unit to the guest room was not working. After tinkering and moving some space heaters around we were able to keep the cabin warm. We were honestly here to eat and sleep we spent all if our free time in gatlinburg etc, but when we were here it felt cozy and safe. Creek view and sound was awesome. Overall nice stay.
When we got there it was rough getting to our cabin. Over grown weeds frees, bushes and broken down car and trucks . Trash from the automobiles was all over. The cabin was outdated. The owner lived right next door to our cabin in a run down mobile home. The inside was ok. I have to say it was a comfortable place. But all honesty, it needs alot of work on the property. All the cabins need redone. We not be staying there again the gentleman in charge was nice. But he is old and can't do alot of things on the property. It needs cleaned up.

Creekside Cottage review
This cabin was cozy and quiet. The forest surrounding it is pretty and we enjoyed the sound of the creek right outside. The driveway is quite narrow so it would be difficult for wide vehicles to maneuver. The location was within 30 minutes of all our planned activities. Be sure to check with the owner for key pick-up/drop off instructions as the cabin next door with the Garden of Eden sign is not the office.
Cottage is in beautiful area. Creek side Cottage was nice, but when I stay next time I would prefer Lullaby. Lullaby is tastefully decorated and has a sweet backyard. It is extremely clean.
We had a quiet, restful stay and enjoyed exploring a different part of the Smokeys. The view and sound of the creek from the back porch surrounded by laurel and the occasional glimpse of a hawk was a highlight.
No frills cabin but clean, cool, well stocked and comfortable. The view, the setting, the secluded yet convenient location was just perfect! Looking forward to returning soon!!!!
We absolutely loved our time at the Creekside Cottage. The owner was very accommodating and the cabin was the perfect size for us. It was very easy to find, even in the dark! We loved being greeted by the cat and dog on the property. We didn't bring our dog this time, but now that we see how pet friendly it is, he might have to tag along next time! Cosby is a great town with plenty to do. We visited the Llama farm, had lunch at Doc's Cafe, and shopped at the Yard Art location. We will definitely be coming back soon!
Week in the mountains in the Garden of Edin Cabins
We had a wonderful time!! The peace and serenity of the cabin was wonderful. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay in the cabin. The best attribute was the back porch overlooking the creek....I can't say enough about the wonderful time that we had. If a family wants to truly get away from people and enjoy simplicity this is definitely the way to go. We enjoyed Mrs. Iva's property so very much. We also enjoyed the visits from her dog and cat as well. I just can't say enough positive about this property. It is simple...it is not a high dollar log cabin but the view more than made up for it. We absolutely loved it!!
