"This riverside cabin is the perfect getaway location. Out of town by only 10 minutes and so peaceful. It’s surrounded by beautiful landscape and right above the Lewis river. The hosts greeted us upon arrival, showed us the cabin and even left us a special fruit cracker and salmon dip tray. From the cabin daily we were able to explore the surrounding areas quite easily. Portland is only 40 minutes away, Fishing, antique shops, scenic drives and wineries all nearby. Totally enjoyable stay!!"

"We were in town for a wedding and this cabin was great for my husband, adult son, teen son, 2 labs and Me! Trail up hill in back is a thigh burner but a great start to the morning. Dogs were happy roaming the fenced property. Cabin has everything you need although internet is spotty at times. C stores in Cougar have are stocked if you forgot something, only 1.5 mile away. Resort restaurant (Log Fir?) has EXCELLENT food. Burgers were delicious, chili cheese fries amazing and my husband had stew, which he loved. Highly recommend this vrbo if looking for a place to stay in the area."

"A magical place to rest and rejuvenate, host was prompt and friendly. Felt like we had the whole woods to ourselves. The hammock and outdoor shower with instant hot water were my favorite. We will be back. Kitchen had essentials and much more. The oven was new and great for cooking with 6 burners. Plenty of firewood on hand for indoor wood stove and outdoor fire pit. So many little quirky touches it made the place feel like home. Did I mention the flannel sheets and large soft towels?"

"This home is clean and well stocked. Our group of 9 guests had plenty of room. We enjoyed the location as this home is located in the countryside, but is also a short drive from a small town that has groceries, restaurants and a gas station. I recommend staying at this property."

"Wow! Such a gem of a spot! Couldn't ask for better communication and flexibility from Tony! Immediately upon arrival he was already lighting the fire for us, letting us know that we don't have to worry about the noise and to just communicate with him which was such an amazing welcome! The space was clean, but also had an immense amount of character that complemented our New Years vibes. The fire pit was amazing, the grill was a plus, the pool table and the basketball hoop kept us entertained and the cold plunge at the dock kept us sane. The highlight of the weekend were the New Years fireworks that left us all with our jaws on the floor. Yale house was truly special, do not hesitate to book. We all left the weekend hoping we could stay longer. We will be coming back! Thank you so much Tony! You da best:)"
