At best, this is a 3-star hotel. The rooms were worn, with stained furniture, peeling leather chairs, and a run-down bathroom with a clogged bathtub. The biggest issue was the noise. Ongoing street construction made every passing car sound like a gunshot, making it nearly impossible to get a good night's sleep. Hotel did offer ear plugs and noise canceling machine… Room service is only available in the morning, and there aren't any convenience stores nearby. However, there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, including a good restaurant on the property. Overall, this hotel did not live up to its rating, and I wouldn't stay here again. DO NOT USE THE SELF PARKING LOT NEXT TO HOTEL ON CORNER OF 11th/ALDER! Several cars were broken into when we stayed there on several nights. USE HOTEL VALLET!

"The staff was efficient and helpful. The building is not new or up to date. It is in order and clean for it's age. Other than a few hairs in the shower I didn't notice anything out of place. Breakfast was pretty basic, waffle, cereal, oatmeal choices. We didn't stay long enough to use any amenities ..."
