They have maintained the authenticity of a true French alps resort. 2. Unlike other hotels in 1850, the staff seem happier and friendlier. 3. The best ski room and ski valets in town. 4. "The hotel spa itself is fine but the location is just horrible and should be disclosed. It is set on the outskirts of the town on an industrial estate opposite a cement works and with a bottle bank behind. The room was fine. The restaurant was ok although they served the absolute worst tartiflette i have ever head in my 34 years of living in France. It was also rather expensive for what it was but the staff were charming. I would bot recommend it or ever stay there again."
