Stayed one night as part of a tour. The location is truly stunning with fabulous views. Hotel was clean and tidy, only downside was the pool looked a bit grimy. Quick and easy check in with efficient helpful staff. Plentiful parking with lots of spaces. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Short stay on a long trip.

A large hotel in a ski resort up in the mountains. Clean and well maintained. Plenty of parking. Key card didn't work when we tried to get into the room after checking in and failed again the next day. The buffet in the restaurant was well stocked but unless you were there early the food wasn't really hot enough for later eaters. We ate in the bar the next day. Large, comfortable rooms with good air conditioning.

Perfect location for us

A group of cyclists. Staff were very helpful in letting us store the bikes. Great to be able to chill in the pool each afternoon. And i love the work that the hotel does with people if special needs. Keep up the good work.

Not what we were expecting from a Luna hotel!

We chose to stay at this hotel as we were checking out the facilities in order to stay during the future ski season. We have stayed at the Luna hotel in Tabua, which is 1 1/2 hours away, many times. The Luna Hotel Tabua is outstanding and this is why we chose to stay in this one which we assumed was part of the group. On arrival we were told that the restaurant was not open that evening and that there were only limited bar snacks. There are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room, at all, unlike the other Luna hotel. We were also told that when it first snows this hotel is in fact in accessible due to the snow and that there is no ski shuttle bus as advertised on the particulars. The hotel itself is quite nice and comfortable but be aware during the off-season period the restaurant can be very likely closed and as it is a ski resort there are very little options to eat elsewhere or buy any other necessities.

Hotel outside of Covilhã, half way up the mountain. Idyllic location and great view. Our room was not well cleaned, especially the bath room was not. Neither was the cutlery and porcelain at the breakfast clean. Staff at reception could not answer our questions about mountain trails. In general, the staff at the reception could be more service-minded. The employees at the bar were the best part of this hotel experience, very sympathic.

Hotel didn’t honour paid and confirmed reservation

When we checkef in, they didn’t have our confirmed and paid reservation , I showed them my Hotels.com receipt. They didn’t honor it. I had to pay the three nights again. They told me to contact hotels.com for refund. Once I got to our room, I did not like the facilities therefore decided not to stay three nights. I went back to the reception desk and told them to make my reservation for one night and they proceeded to refund me the second and third night I opened a chat with hotels.com to get my refund back for my booking through you. It is still not settled. They are asking me to go back to the hotel and get a receipt and proof that the hotel did not get the money from hotels.com. I do not have time for this while I am on my trip because we are moving around from city to city I will have to contact hotels.com and reopen my refund request on September 16 upon my return home to Canada.

La estancia regular. La habitación pequeña , antigua,las Los armarios estropeados y viejos . No había enchufes para cargar los teléfonos . La ducha minúscula . En plena ola de calor pasamos un día entero sin aire acondicionado . En el desayuno el segundo día no había zumo natural . El personal muy amable , pero los servicios escasos para un hotel de cuatro estrellas .solo pusieron 1 día 1 gorro de baño , ni champú , ni acondicionador . El segundo día nada .Las toallas para la piscina son de alquiler y los gorros de pago , cuando en ningún sitio avisan de que hace falta gorro para la piscina , sino me lo hubiese llevado de casa

A cama não era muito confortável, o colchão já deveria ser velho com protuberâncias. As almofadas também um pouco duras. A casa de banho durante a noite teve vazamento de água no bidé que nem foi usado. As instalações tinham comodidades, mas estavam um pouco obsoletas. O pequeno-almoço Buffet foi bom, pois tinha um pouco de tudo.

Disappointing and should be a 3 star

On a trip around Spain and Portugal we stayed here for two nights in May, staying only one night in most places we stayed in lots of hotels. In my view this hotel isn’t equal to other 4 Star hotels on this trip, my room was about a 2 star grade and the overall hotel a 3 star. My room was tiny, very dated, no bedside power and a nail used to secure carpet was right in the bathroom doorway and not nice to step on. The overall hotel is very dated and staff were ok at best. My friend had his Expensive GPS “go missing” from his room. I wouldn’t stay here again.
