This was likely an amazing hotel about 20 years ago, barring the smoking that they allowed back then.
The Good:
The location is good, off of 190, granted the new "stop before turning left" thing is a little bizarre, which makes coming and going a little more difficult.
The rooms are spacious: There's a lot of room to stretch out.
The Bad:
Smoke: There's still a lingering smell of smoke even though it's not permitted. Several people smoking MJ and cigarettes at the front door.
Beds: The mattresses are tired. The springs are all over the place. These mattresses needed replacing years ago. It was all 3 beds in the suite as well. I was told that some rooms had sofabeds, but most were broken and "glued down" because of that. This is not a "optional" - These mattresses NEED replacing.
Kitchen:
Unlike most suites, no cookware, dishes, silverware, etc. are provided. The microwave wouldn't open fully because it hit the fridge. Seriously.
Furniture:
Needed a deep cleaning. They allow pets, which is a good and bad thing, and a bad thing only if you don't deep clean the rooms occasionally. We ended up putting sheets over the sofa because it was...really filthy and uncomfy.
TVs:
The TVs are circa 2004 off-brand RCA. The speakers are among the worst I've heard...no hyperbole.
You only get one cleaning a week, and that's not calendar week. You need to be there 7 days.
If cost is the only factor, okay...but otherwise, they need to clean this place up/update it.
