Cox Science Center and Aquarium

The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout my stay. They went above and beyond to accommodate my early arrival by arranging an early check-in and consistently addressed any concerns I raised in a timely and professional manner. Their hospitality and dedication to providing excellent customer service truly made my experience memorable. I particularly appreciated their attention to detail, including ensuring that my room was cleaned promptly without me ever having to call and request housekeeping services. It was clear that the staff genuinely cared about making my stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Their outstanding service is one of the main reasons I have returned twice since my initial visit, and I certainly intend to continue being a repeat guest. The team deserves recognition for their exceptional hospitality and commitment to making guests feel valued and well taken care of. 👏

Good: Front desk staff friendly, room clean with good kitchenette, bed comfortable. Restaurant had good food, waitstaff. Not so good: Lobby was small with only 2 chairs. In the room, there were no bedside lights! Also could hear dance music at night, though that finally quieted down. Restaurant could accommodate single travelers better.

Upon arrival and checking in, the staff member at the front desk did not notify us about the Wi-Fi. Did not inform us of continental breakfast. Did not give us any information in regards amentis or anything the hotel offers. In the room the faucet was loose, the shower door was not leveled and unhinged, crashing against the tile. The furniture was coming apart and we found a roach roaming around the sink on our toothpaste and toothbrushes. We asked for 2 cappuccinos, which were not included in the continental breakfast, and it was a charge of $25 for two coffees. I think that's ridiculous. When we needed to talk to the supervisor or the general manager on duty, there was none on duty. I've never seen a hotel who doesn't have a supervisor or a general manager on duty. All the time.
