One of a kind cabin in the woods. Quiet and private but close to everything.

Unique cottage nestled in the woods located along the Bourbon Trail. Featured on HGTV's OFFBEAT AMERICA for its design. Season 3, Episode 12. It is the perfect place to stay and enjoy the Bourbon Trail or the miles of nature trails in Bernheim Forest.

8 minutes to Jim Beam Distillery, 8 minutes to Bernheim Forest, 4 minutes to Four Roses Bourbon Warehouse and Bottling Tour, 12 minutes to the City of Bardstown, 30 minutes to Churchill Downs

NO Smoking or Vaping.
NO PETS.
No animals of any kind are permitted on the property. Due to the host’s family being severely allergic to animal hair and dander, the listing is strictly allergy-free. There are no exceptions to this rule, as any animal on the property poses a severe health hazard to the host’s family. If an animal is brought onto the property, you will not be permitted to check in. In addition, your reservation will be canceled and a cleaning fee will be imposed. The property was very pristine, for as close as it is to a main hwy as well you could hardly if at all hear the traffic! A very nice secluded getaway that wasn’t too far from food and entertainment options

Kentucky Derby trip

Great place to stay. It's conveniently located to several places to include a short drive (30 min or so) to Louisville and Churchill Downs. Property Managers were easily accessible and very kind. I would definitely recommend this place for a couple's retreat. Thank you.

The perfect place to start new holiday traditions and create new memories for us! Loved the location. Quiet and peaceful yet close to distilleries, Berheim forest giants and Bardstown. EVERYTHING you could possibly need in a unique and beautiful setting. Communication was awesome as well!

Cozy Cabin

My husband and I spent part of our honeymoon here and loved spending time and getting away from the city here. It was really close to several distilleries, we visited Four Roses and Jim Beam. Also took a trip to see the Bernheim forest giants. My favorite parts of the stay were the shower and the fireplace. We'd love to come back some day

Close enough without being too close

I was in town as media for the Bourbon Festival. If you’ve been around Bardstown during the festival it’s crowded. I usually stay in shepherdsville at a hotel which is handy. When this property popped up it gave me a chance to be a lot closer but also have some peace and quiet. The back deck was the peaceful retreat I needed after a day of wading through crowds. Next year I may bring my wife and just let her hang out here and read all day. She’ll love it.

Thanksgiving Getaway

Ol' married couple ran away for the holiday. The interior is something else. We really like all the angles. It's not like anything we have ever experienced. It's very relaxing. You're in the woods, but not really. The porch/deck faces the woods, but you can still hear the road traffic at times (not an issue). House is fully stocked (minus food). Would definitely suggest others give it a try.
