Location! 5 minutes from Lake Gregory. Welcome to Northstar Vista Lodge! The panoramic mountain/forest views and sweeping vistas are breathtaking. With the expansive deck and balconies, the majestic views are everywhere. This is THE place for star gazing. View the North Star and other celestial points of interest through the lens of the tri-pod mounted telescope. Check out the Star Wars themed game room with foosball table, wood burning stove, keyboard, and plenty of games for family game night.

The location & views are THE main attraction. From the expansive deck, primary bedroom balcony, and the game room balcony, you can see for miles. As the sun sets and casts it`s colorful light on the forest canopy, only the sounds of birds against the silence of the forest can be heard. Unwind with a glass of wine and allow yourself to become one with nature as calmness washes over you. Plan your day at the lake, walk on the wide trail, take the dog to the dog park or throw the ball at the grassy area where you can also take a walk on the circular track. Just steps away rent a kayak or canoe, catch some fish or just hang out and have a picnic at one of the tables. Return home and cook a gourmet dinner, relax by the fire, gaze at the stars, & cherish these moments as they become memories forever. The beds are extra comfy with plenty of privacy for everyone. If that meeting comes up, use the workspace in the primary bedroom or take it outside to one of the balconies. The space is flexible, comfortable, & well designed for an unforgettable mountain retreat. Charge the car while you sleep so there`s more time to enjoy!

To make this property affordable and reasonable for couples there is an extra guest fee of $15 per person per night after 2 people.

The age minimum is 25 (families with kids welcome).

For 28+ night stays, please inquire first (not instant book); the following deposits apply: Refundable damage deposit is $100 Refundable cleaning deposit is $350 45-day cancellation policy, and for shortened stays Note:

The cleaning fee for 28+night stays is higher than the short-term cleaning fee in the listing. For stays 28 nights or longer, the cleaning fee is $250. The difference between this fee & the initial cleaning fee paid upon booking will be collected along with the deposits before check-in.

Immediately after booking you will receive our short rental agreement to review & accept.

For your convenience in cleaning up any messes or spills we provide handiwipes & bar rags as an eco-friendly alternative to paper towels. We also provide Swedish dish cloths instead of sponges. There is a sign in the house explaining the benefits, however if you prefer paper towels or sponges during your stay feel free to bring them. We want to prepare you the best we can for an exceptional stay with us.

A BBQ is provided at the house, however, please be aware that we do not refill propane. We will reimburse you if you need to fill the propane. If you will arrive late, local stores may be closed or if it`s a holiday may run out of propane so it is advised to bring your own propane tank. if you plan to use the BBQ on the day of arrival.

PETS: We are happy to announce our Happy Paws Community Program to help local animal shelters re-home and save the lives of animals.

We donate 25% of pet fees to a local shelter/animal rescue. We are also launching our Happy Paws promotion for pet parents who help us get the word out about the program.
To participate, follow the wick and easy steps in the guidebook under “Pet Parents” to post a picture of you and your furry family member. The picture must be posted before check-out and make sure to tag us. The refund will be provided back to you within 5 days of check-out.

The Short Term Pet discounted fee for non-shedding dogs is $25 per night per pet If your dog is on the list we will need a picture of you and your pet(s) (together) submitted prior to check-in day.
The Short Term regular Pet fee for other dogs or approved pets is $50 per night per pet.
The Long Term Pet fee (28+ nights or longer) is $150 per dog per month. For non-shedding pets on the list the monthly fee is $95 per month. Only one dog under 40 pounds is allowed.

There is a refundable pet deposit if more than 2 approved pets of $500.
