Waldport Bayfront Hotel and Restaurant

"I made a mistake when I booked the date. The front desk attendant went out of his way to make it possible for us to stay despite my mistake. The property was older but has been updated in every way possible. The beds were comfortable and clean. There is no A/C but none was needed. It is right on the waterway and the restaurant on site was excellent, fantastic service, welcoming atmosphere, all handmade Italian, including the pasta. They offered local wines and a nice range of cocktails. A lot of the locals must eat there as well. The pool was not open and looked to be in repair but we would not have used it anyway. Great location from the scenic byway. Thank you!"

"This was a lovely place that felt like a trip back in time to the 90s - you’ll get it if you stay here! The place is very clean, conveniently located right next to the 101, and yes, you can walk to the beach! The nearest beach-access point is a bit sketchy as part of the stairs to get down there have weathered away, but there is an easier access point one street north that’s doesn’t have any stairs - it’s just a ramp down to the ocean. We saw a family of seals swimming around where the river meets the sea every time we went down there. Communication was excellent and it’s such a cute little place. Highly recommend!"

"• Oceanfront setting delivered as advertised — clear Pacific views, and an eagle’s nest on the property was an unexpected bonus• Interior was modern, clean, and genuinely well organized; easy to find what we needed without asking• Layout worked well for a family of five — two adults, three kids — with no crowding• Quick walk down to the beach; good hiking within easy reach• Great base for running — beach runs and the Waldport Bridge route• Convenient to town, and an easy drive to Newport and Driftwood Beach• Left the place clean and would gladly stay again — we’d welcome the chance to return"

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Such a wonderful space for a girl’s weekend! Fully stocked kitchen for making meals, great views from the hot tub, cozy space with room for crafting, card games and board games. Easy drives to beaches and a grocery store as well as downtown Waldport. We enjoyed a long beach walk to find “Big Stump”."
