Excellent Five Days at the Hotel

Really amazing stay, made exceptional by the friendly staff. We looked forward to meals because the staff were so nice! Also we had a problem with our rental car at the end not starting, and Anita and Vivian went out of their way to be incredibly helpful. A really beautiful few days at a lovely hotel. Thank you.

My fifth stay at this hotel and it is a very enjoyable experience. Although the food is in buffet form the standard is very high. The outside dining terrace has splendid views. The new wing adds a third swimming pool which is indoor and outdoor. All pools are heated. The main language used in the hotel is German.

Wir waren 10 Tage im Kvarner Palace. Ein fantastisches Hotel! Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, die Freundlichkeit der Mitarbeiter war unglaublich! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und uns herrlich erholt. Bei der Sauberkeit werden keine Abstriche gemacht! Sogar die Abfluss-Stöpsel in der Badewanne werden blitzblank gereinigt. Wir beobachteten eine Mitarbeiterin, die sogar die Kieselsteine in den Pflanzbehältnissen im Treppenhaus Stück für Stück mit einer Bürste putzte. Besonders angenehm sind auch die langen Essenzeiten für Frühstück und Abendessen und das qualitativ hochwertige und sehr reichhaltige Buffet wird bis zuletzt noch aufgefüllt, falls etwas zur Neige geht. Die Auswahl der Speisen ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Preise für Getränke sind im Rahmen. Etwas nachteilig sind die harten Matratzen in den Zimmern und der für ein Hotel dieser Größe doch etwas beschauliche Pool. Aber dafür ist man in zwei Minuten unten am Strand, der leider - trotz Liegen für Hotelgäste - öffentlich ist. Badetücher werden täglich gewechselt! In direkter Umgebung ist leider nicht allzu viel geboten. Ausflugsziele sind Opatija und Reijka (ca. 30 Minuten Fahrdauer). Opatija hoffnungslos überteuert und Reijka auch nicht so der Hit. Die Insel Krk ist auch mit dem Auto (über die Brücke) oder per Boot zu erreichen. Sehenswert und per organisierter Tagestour sind die Plitwicer Seen (wo der Schatz im Silbersee gedreht wurde). Großartig, aber oft sehr überlaufen und 2:20 Std. Fahrtdauer mit dem Bus entfernt.

Beautiful historic building in a large park with great pool and spa, close to the sea and there with all service one needs at private beach in one of the few sandy bays. Very efficient personell, excellent restaurant, spacious rooms, comfortable beds, large windows with great sea view, late breakfast, enough parking lots, lots of space at various terraces, quiet and stress-free. A perfect place for a traditional, relaxed summer vacation with many options to book boat tours or do trips to the surrounding islands or villages. One of the best addresses in Croatia.

Perfect hotel for a visit to Croatia

I visit Croatia regularly for vacation - usually a mix of visiting sights, boat trips, and some relaxing at the sea. Arrived from Triest by car, did several trips to Rab, Krk, Cres, Opatija, and stayed at the beach for 2 days in Crikvenica. Hotel is perfect for this mix, also for families, but adults without kids have absolutely no stress through kids or noise. It´s a very cultivated, but relaxed atmosphere.

Endlich mal ein Hotel wo die Fotos in der Werbung mit der Realität übereinstimmen. Hervorzuheben ist dass Personal, die Lage (Pool) und dass hervorragende Essen. Dass Hotel ist unter Österreichischer Führung und dass merkt Mann. 5 Sterne würde ich für diese Unterkunft vergeben.

Super dejlig restaurant og god betjening.

Super god betjening, nem tjek ind/ud Fantastisk rent overalt. Kun en enkelt anke, nemlig at hotellet betales i Euro til overkurs, troede jeg skulle betale på hotellet, men blev trukket på kortet hjemmefra, hvilket betød at opholdet blev ca. 200 dkr. dyre end tilbudt.
