"Avoid!!! I was flying from USA and my flight was cancelled. Delayed for 12 hours. Despite having 18 hours difference I tried to email and call the property to cancel reservation. Agents were not helpful by saying that they can't cancel it. Have to wait for the manager or resolve through 3d party (as reservation was made). Really? I tried to resolve with the 3d party as well and noone was willing to assist with the refund. Not even partial. You are probably safe to book with them if you are local not flying from other countries. "

"Very new, clean, attractive hotel in large shopping center outside Queenstown near the airport. Nothing terribly interesting nearby and traffic snarled by road construction currently (March 2026). Tanoshi, Japanese restaurant next door was quite good. "

"A beautiful hotel on the lakes edge. Rooms were spacious, the view was incredible, they had a great breakfast selection, carpark was just across the road. Only thing was, it’s a slight drive out of Queenstown, but very close to airport. There is the option of the water taxi which runs every hour and picks up straight out the front of the hotel. $10-$14 one way "

"The apartments are very clean, very quiet and have a lovely green space. We are a couple that love to walk so we walked to the restaurant area and grocery stores. they have a great activity center Highlands Motorsport Park, if you want to have some fun!"
