Learn more about Gibbston

Nestled in wine country, Gibbston's cellar doors welcome visitors for tastings of the region's famous Pinot Noir. Cycle the Gibbston River Trail and stop at local cheese shops before continuing to nearby Queenstown for adventure activities.

This isn't quite the Remarkables Ski Area but it's not that far away. It was November and the biggest snow fall that Queenstown had ever had in that month fortuitously dumped some lovely white stuff all over the mountain tops. We went out the next day and could only get so far before the road was closed due to snow clearing activities. Still, it was a lovely drive!
