Although not directly on the lake, the location is very conveniently located a short walk from lake access. There is also a community park with a dock a few hundred feet from the property. Our only issue was that the heater was not functioning and we were not made aware of this ahead of our arrival. The house is comfortable and quietly located in a shady spot off the main road. The bedrooms are large and inviting for some alone time. The mattresses could use replacing. The kitchen/living room are a great place to hang out and relax.I especially enjoyed the deck with its view of the lake and abundant shade. The neighbors even stopped by to welcome us and share some goodies.Overall it is a great place to stay if you're looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway spot.We would stay here again.
The property was exactly as the listing showed. The host communicated well and we loved the location. We arrived late at night and couldn’t see the house number. We had to drive around the block to make sure that we were at the right place. But that was our only hiccup. Thanks for a great stay!

I feel that more attention to cleaning should be made at this property. Only the bare minimum of cleaning was made on our arrival. There was hair left in the tub, the bathroom vanity had not been wiped down, I don't know if the handles on the refrigerator have ever been cleaned, there was a ton of dust and smudges on the tv stand in the bedroom and to top it off there was a half eaten hamburger in a decorative bucket in the entryway. I would also like to let future guests know that the oven does not work, this detail is mentioned in the amenities section of the listing which I didn't notice until after I booked this property. I assumed that a rental house would have a working oven. The location of the property was great.
Perfect place for our family's for our night short 4 night stay for a wedding & a reunion. Not air-conditioned- not a problem. House has plenty of fans & remained cool due to shade trees. BRITTA water filter provided plenty of drinking water. Only minor negative, house needs a Kuerig coffee maker. Brought our K-CUPS but never used them. Love Crystal. LOVED this VRBO
The cottage itself is cute, clean and very spacious. The location is nice and rather private. We brought our boat and there was plenty of room to park. The launch is on the other side of the lake and a quick drive. We slept in the master bedroom off the living room and the bed was just okay. Needs replacing. Please check every listing to be sure it includes AC. I thought that was a "given" but apparently not. The cottage temperature was 77/78 degrees at one point. We had fans/windows open and were told to close it up at night. Well then it was even hotter! I will not stay again because there is no air. I'm sorry but 77 is uncomfortable for sleeping. Add a few window units for goodness sakes. Imagine if it had been in the 90's that day! We are older and I do not tolerate heat well so if you and your family do then you won't be disappointed except for the beds! We had to check out a day early due to rainy weather and were needed at home. We love the lake and come almost every weekend. The host was pleasant & cooperative.
