This memorable house is the perfect home base for your trip to Crystal River. A ranch style home built in the mid 70s Has been divided into two apartments that are completely separated. This listening is for the front apartment which offers two cozy bedrooms featuring a king Bed in one room and a queen bed in the other so guests can rest comfortably after a day of adventure. The house includes 1.5 bathrooms; the half bath is located in the king suite. Take a refreshing shower, we provide shampoo, soap, towels, and a hair dryer for convenience. A serene living room offers a sofa bed, ideal for extra guests or relaxing evenings. Enjoy movies, shows, and sports with hulu, disney+, ESPN, Paramount+, Amazon prime video, and Peacock on our 65inch flat screen tv. If you would prefer to go outside and enjoy the beautiful Florida weather, we have a bbq grill, fire pit, and outside games available to set up in the spacious front yard. Though it is not a luxury resort, we do our best to create a livable space so that when you walk through the front door you feel right at home. Whether you’re unwinding or getting ready for the day, this beautiful house provides a perfect blend of comfort and ease. Ready to explore all that the Nature Coast has to offer? This home is centrally located only minutes from clear spring water where you can swim with manatees or float down a lazy river, kayak and pontoon boat rentals in Kings Bay for fun in the sun, the Homosassa Wildlife Park, or trail riding in the Withlacoochee Forest! Don't forget to head down Fort Island Trail to catch a couple reds off the bridge or a breathtaking sunset view at the beach. We hope you enjoy your time in Crystal River at the Sunset Bay House!

The host was very helpful and responded to any questions I had. The house was clean, stocked for cooking, bed was comfortable, and the rooms were well decorated. Although simple, the house served the purpose for our weekend getaway. Very near dining, shops and manatee excursions. I woukd stay again.

I wish I saw the other review before booking. The description did not include other units on the property and made it seem as the outdoor space was ready to enjoy. Instead, the yard was a mess with a boat and covered car parked in the carport.Inside, broken blinds, an old stained toilet with lousy plumbing, and sparse basics made the stay unenjoyable. There was no information for locating the trash bins or laundry.I also contacted the host only days into a 2 week reservation to shorten the length of the trip but we have not come to a resolution. I would not recommend this property or renting through VRBO at this time.

Ceiling fan blades flying off. Said it had washer/dryer in the house that wasn’t true. Can’t even stock toilet paper in unit nor did it even come with a brand new roll. Plumbing was terrible toilet backed up all the time which then came up through the shower drain, came over the first time to ‘fix’ it when I got back to the house he couldn’t even clean the toilet or the shower from the mess it made. No where did it say this was some sort of duplex and the host lives on other side first thing I noticed was a boat and car in the carport. So over all terrible experience and wouldn’t recommend to anyone nor would I come back
