"The apartment was well-equipped in a quiet building with good views. Our young adult sons did not find the sofa bed comfortable to sleep on. We really enjoyed the beautiful swimming pool and hiking along the River Tea. The buffet dinner in the hotel opposite was excellent."

"Beautiful property, nice and clean amazing views. The hosts parents went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. Only draw back was the YourHouse agency was awful to deal with. They say they will call you right back you don't hear from them in 2 hours. Once they never called back at all. We were not given the proper address just a google maps link which led us to the wrong town. Owner of casa da corona. Get rid of the agency! They are bad for your place. Just rent through Airbnb. Asked if I could give them my stamped postcards so the postcards could be put in with the regular hotel mail and was told, “not possible, we don’t do that” - and I am fluent in Portuguese. Have been to many countries and this was the first time I was told my stamped postcards couldn’t be included with normal hotel mail."

"The hotel was decent but the reception wasn’t open 24 hours so if you’re arriving late (around 11pm or so), you’ll always have to knock and wake up whoever is in there. There was one night that I almost didn’t get into the hotel because no one was at the reception and the main door was locked. Luckily, a woman who was also staying there arrived and called his boyfriend and unlocked the door for us from the inside. There was also a small spark or kind of a little explosion in one of the sockets in my room. I went to the receptionist but no one was there and waited for more than 30 minutes. A guest who happened to be an electrician helped me out. I decided to transfer hotels after 4 nights of stay. "
