"If you book this hotel and you use Google maps to find it, then put in Gandullas only as this is the village the hotel is in. Maps took me to 3 different places before some locals at my third stop gave me the correct address. They said I was in Pinuecar and not Gandullas. Very hard to find. But then I was able to access the property but there is nothing in the village by way of bars or restaurants. I had to go onto the next town to find something to eat. Top Cubillo Hotel Reviews

Eurostars Plaza Acueducto

8/10 Good

"Good location right across acueducto. Walkable area"

Hotel Don Felipe

8/10 Good

"This hotel has excellent views of the alcazar and also hot air balloons from across the valley although depends on your room choice. Note premium rooms are advertised having an Alcazar view but ours didn’t, we had access to a balcony where we could walk out to the view (which was magnificent) otherwise blocked by another part of the building. Room spacious with comfortable bed and very quiet at night. Excellent breakfast. Room cleaning was hit and miss - had to ask for towels to be replaced and used glasses were not replaced. On arrival there were no welcoming words from reception, just a request for our passports. Information was provided when we asked but otherwise not forthcoming (contrast with the warm welcome experienced in Madrid hotel the week before). In summary, it’s a good hotel but could be that much better with relatively little effort."

Parador de Segovia

8/10 Good

"This paradore is not as well maintained as the ones we stayed in at Cuenca or Toledo. The shower didn't drain, there was water in the refrigerator and the door to the patio has very loose handles. Whatever is used to clean the floors left a very sticky substance making it noisy to walk on. Parking is good and close and free. Front desk staff could.be more helpful and welcoming."
