I was happy with the location of this hotel and the staff were super helpful, the breakfast was excellent, but in our room which was the suite the windows were a little small and on a warm day they would not stay open they kept closing by themselves. My wife wasn't happy that there was no conditioner which she was expecting. The furniture was rather old and outdated. I probably would stay there again though I wouldn't spend the extra money on The Suite

Magical
Welcome amazing, could not believe the beauty of this monastery. It filled us all with peace. Couldn’t wish for a better position either. I cannot wait to return.

This is a very unique property located right in the entrance of the old town. It is extremely convenient for sightseeing abd dining. The staff is very friendly and helpful One thibg unique about this property which i am not familiar with is that it does not have a TV or fridge in the room. It is not a problem for us but it is different

Great base from which to explore old city. Set back from main drag, quiet, and excellent breakfast. The building itself is beautiful, and located next to the science museum. Good for families.

Great location in the older part of Cuenca. Easy access to castle, Cathedral, and hanging house views. A little tricky in getting there if you are driving, as there is a one lane section regulated by a signal just prior to hotel. Suggest calling first and getting guidance to parking garage below the Monastery, and taking the elevator up to the hotel.

La hospedería ciertamente no es un hotel. Nuestra habitación estaba limpia pero se percibía un olor a drenaje de vez en cuando, así que había que tener la habitación ventilada. El desayuno podría ser mejor, en especial el café. Una mañana había una máquina para el café y la leche caliente. La mañana siguiente desaparecieron. Es difícil encontrar desayuno por la mañana en los alrededores, así que no hay muchas opciones. La hospedería se encuentra en la zona de la catedral, pero hay que caminar mucho para bajar a la parte moderna de Cuenca. Muchas cuestas. Esto es muy para tener en cuenta si se tiene movilidad limitada.

Mid-1700s Seminary. Hotel and seminary co-exist in a beautifully appointed/furnished and maintained building. Modern features seamlessly blended into the historic structure.

Clean and well-situated monastery. Accommodations were very well tended, though basic. About what I expected from a monastery. The breakfast was abundant and delicious.

I really don't know why anyone would stay elsewhere in Cuenca if this lodging is available. While the amenities and room are simple, they are very clean with modern fixtures. The seminary is located in the heart of the old part of Cuenca that people come to see, the breakfast is wonderful (it does cost extra), and the staff very friendly and helpful. There is not 24-hour service at the front desk, although there is a phone number to call if it isn't staffed. If you must have a television in your room I guess perhaps it isn't the right place for you, but really there is all of beautiful Cuenca to see right out of the front door.

Great hotel in a gem of a city
Hotel is located a street away from the plaza mayor. The rooms have been renovated nicely and are very comfortable. You will get a quiet sleep. There is no television in the room, which is perfect for me. Breakfast is very nice and filling. I would stay again when in Cuenca

Unique property in a privileged location, a stone-throw to the Plaza Mayor/Main Square, the Cathedral and all major historical attractions. Please be mindful that this property is a Seminary school, not a commercial or chain hotel: there is no TV or small fridge in the room...but it worked for us. The place is spotless, breakfast was great!

Lovely hotel. Beautiful building ideally situated for seeing Cuenca. Staff were exceptional, taking time and trouble to point out great places to visit. Great attention to detail especially to cope with covod 19. Highly recommended

Fabulous!
Really enjoyed this hotel. The building is beautiful, the rooms are very clean and the breakfast was perfect. We were in the big family room and had a gorgeous view out our windows. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Great location. Hotel has bags of character and the bedrooms are much nicer than the photos. Good breakfast. Parking simple in a nearby carpark just follow the instructions. Location is superb as is Cuenca

Stayed in the family room. Great for a family of 5. Two bedrooms, one with 3 twins, the other with two twins pushed together. Comfortable beds. Lots of water pressure. Excellent breakfast, only slight issue was it doesn't start until 0830 and we had an 0830 train. The staff were very accommodating and let us start early. Also very helpful with directions, etc. Spoke fluent English. Besui view, right in the center of the old town. Steep hill and stairs to climb to access so not suitable for anyone with mobility challenges unfortunately.

Definitely stay here! It’s a unique “hotel”, in a quiet courtyard, yet just a few steps from the Plaza Mayor and the nightlife. Comfortable, modern, with a very nice breakfast included, the parking arrangements are also convenient if coming by car. We consider this one of the most enjoyable “hotels” of our whole trip!

Simply Charming
We spent a lovely weekend in this charming hotel. The staff are excellent and all very friendly. The location couldn't be better smack in the middle of the old town and only 50 metres from Plaza Mayor. An excellent breakfast is included in the room rate. We will be back.

A pleasant surprise at the heart of the old town
The best accommodation in Cuenca so far. A wholly renovated priest school which preserves a lot of charm. Friendly staff who’ll be ready to give you the best tips for a restaurant and sightseeing. Parking at the nearby La Mangana is straightforward and costs 12€. The views over the old town and the mountain are... simply amazing.

Outstanding stay in Cuenca
Amazing building right in the heart of Cuenca. Great staff, we had an early departure to catch the Ave to Cordoba and they specially sorted an early breakfast before we left. Great views from our room.

If you're planning a trip to Cuenca then look no further than this wonderful Hospedería! The staff are great, it's exceptionally clean and well maintained, and there's no better location as you can walk to all the best attractions. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to Cuenca!

Very good. Center of old town-charming and very relaxing. The place to be if you want to unwind and be taken back to another time with modern amenities. If you want a pool go somewhere else. But I guess if you wanted a pool why bother with Cueca?
