Top Cul de Sac Hotel Reviews
Simpson Bay Resort, Marina & Spa
10/10 Excellent
"Everything was perfect! We had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. Everything exceeded our expectations, and we truly enjoyed our experience. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay!"
"No airport shuttle available nor shuttle to end of road as the other resorts, amazing beach location and swimming pool, clean and neat all over, meal plans not great all else good."
The Atrium Beach Resort and Spa, an Ascend Collection Resort
8/10 Good
"We chose this property primarily because of its location. Being right on the beach, with restaurants within walking distance, makes it very convenient. We were also traveling with a 1 year old and a 2 year old, so having the beach just steps away was important to us.
The apartment-style setup worked very well for our family. We stayed in a one-bedroom apartment, which provided our family needed.
Unfortunately, my biggest disappointment with the Atrium continues to be the attitude of some of the front desk staff, who can be quite rude and dismissive.
Months before our arrival, I emailed the hotel to let them know we would be traveling with two babies and would need two cribs. The hotel responded confirming that they would be able to accommodate our request. However, upon checking into our apartment, we discovered that the TV was not working, a handle had come off the kitchen faucet when we tried to turn on the water and, most importantly, the cribs we had requested were not in the apartment.
When I brought these issues to the attention of the front desk staff, I was met with a very dismissive attitude. There was no apology or acknowledgment of the inconvenience, which made an already frustrating situation even more disappointing.
Although the cribs were eventually delivered and not assembled, we had to do it ourselves , no addition linens were provided.
Overall, location and apartment are perfect. They just need to work on the staff customers service"
"Beautiful resort, friendly staff. Check in was a bit chaotic and our food order wasn't in the room like they said. Plus, they didn't have a lot of the stuff we ordered. Food at the restaurant was ok, only ate there twice. Beach was closed due to seaweed, not their fault i know. Highly recommend staying in the lighthouse condos if you have a big group.
Its located right on the border or the French side so definitely rent a car since all the activities are kind of far. Probably wont be staying here again due to location."
"Overall, I thought this was a great property to stay at. It offers a beautiful private beach, several dining options, and a variety of included water activities for guests to enjoy.
Most of the staff members were kind and courteous, although a few seemed less than enthusiastic when assisting guests. One thing I noticed was a difference in how some staff members treated guests with all-inclusive bracelets versus those without them. In some instances, guests without the all-inclusive bracelet seemed to receive more attentive service, which I found a bit unusual.
Another area that needs improvement is housekeeping. We stayed for four nights and five days, and our room was not serviced daily. We had to request housekeeping on one occasion, and on another day, our room was not cleaned at all. Consistent housekeeping should be a standard, regardless of how long a guest stays.
Overall, I would stay here again and would recommend this all-inclusive resort. However, I believe there is room for improvement when it comes to providing consistent, attentive service to all guests, regardless of their booking package, and ensuring housekeeping stays on schedule. After a long day enjoying the beach and pool, there is nothing better than returning to a clean, refreshed room.
As far as the beach view... Incredible."
