Welcome to Destination Outdoors - Holly Hideaway, a cozy yurt nestled on 100 acres of private North Carolina mountainside. Perfect for two, this glamping spot offers a plush queen bed, a private deck with breathtaking views, and a kitchen nook with mini fridge and microwave. Enjoy endless outdoor fun right at your doorstep!

*Keep in mind there is no AC or heat, but most weeks in the summer it stays cool up in the mountains. We also have a space heater and heated blanket for the colder months.

The driveway is steep but if you are familiar with gravel mountain roads 2WD is fine. Otherwise we recommend AWD or 4WD.

Explore miles of private trails leading to mountain top sunrises and sunsets, play disc golf on a 9-hole course, or try fly fishing in the nearby Tuckasegee River. Relax by the campfire, float down the river with your own tube, or take a private mountain tour with your host. This yurt is your gateway to an unforgettable Smoky Mountain adventure.

You have full access to the yurt, private deck, and all trails on the property. The bathhouse is shared with guests from our other yurt.

As this is a yurt with minimal insulation, temperatures below freezing may feel chilly despite heating options.

We offer a full refund if freezing temps deter your stay.

This is a pet-friendly property; a pet fee applies and will be shown at booking.

You can also book alongside Destination Outdoors - Summerset Ridge to accommodate larger groups.

Amazing Stay in the Holly Hideaway

We had a lovely stay at the Holly Hideaway cozy yurt! It was great to disconnect and unwind, especially in a yurt. Matt was a great host and made the process so easy and smooth. We will definitely book again soon!
