"Okay, firstly the good: the room was nice and parking was plentiful. Comfy bed and good shower/bathroom. But I had a huge problem with arriving at the motel after an 8 hour drive and finding no one there, just a sign telling me to ring a phone number (and having to leave a message because no one answered). I have no issue with contactless check-ins - the stays before and after were both like that, but they also both notified me well in advance and I knew exactly what to expect, unlike this time....
