"We have stayed here many times, and overall, we continue to enjoy our stays. The hotel has had some recent updates, which are nice. I do wish the smoking area wasn’t still located so close to the front entrance. We stayed in a king room, and the room itself was nice and comfortable. My only complaint about the bed area is the pillows—they tend to go flat and could definitely be better. The bathroom doesn’t have much of a countertop since most of the space is taken up by a very large sink, so counter space is limited. The breakfast has changed and, in my opinion, isn’t quite as good as it used to be. The prepared eggs were very pale and didn’t have much flavor. On the positive side, there are several different kinds of yogurt to choose from, and coffee and tea are always available. They also have complimentary cookies by the check-in desk, which is a nice touch. There is plenty of parking, which is definitely a plus. The hotel is generally quiet and has a nice indoor pool. I also requested a third-floor room, and they were able to accommodate that request. Overall, we’ve stayed here many times and would stay again. There are a few things that could be improved, but it remains a comfortable and convenient place to stay."

"Just looking for a fun relaxation weekend and we hit it good!! First time staying on a boat/ in a marina!! Everyone was so friendly and the boat was cozy, but very adequate!! Slept like a baby with the gentle wave action rocking us to sleep!! Enjoyed the historic downtown area and local winery. As a bonus i even caught some fish off the breakwall!"

"The view of the bay is beautiful! We spent a lot of time around the fire pit, watching birds and chatting. The roads around the property are fantastic for walks and bike rides. The cabin itself was just the right size for our group of four to spread out. Everything was easy to find, light switches were labeled and towels blankets etc. were are easily accessible."

"This was a getaway for extended family, and we loved the large kitchen and extra fridge, since we tend to do a lot of our own cooking. The views were fantastic, and we enjoyed the use of the kayaks and canoe (loved seeing the pelicans!). There’s a nice green space, too (not lake side), that we used for yard games. The basement “game room” was a little disappointing for the younger ones (a broken pinball machine, a shuffleboard table that’s seen better days, and a foosball table), but overall we were pleased with the place. If you know what you’re getting into - a rustic getaway that means you’ll need to drive a bit to get to any shops or attractions - this could be the place for your group."
