"I enjoyed my stay here and the room was clean and quiet. There was a small issue with the first room and the staff were very accommodating and moved me the next day. The breakfast was fine but it’s a busy hotel with tour groups and schools so expect a lot of people. The hotel is in a great location, an easy walk from the train station."

"There was no fun in the room. There was no bottle of water. You couldn't call room service to change the sheets. They have to go downstairs and bring it upstairs and change it ourselves. I went downstairs at 12:00 a.m. because I had couldn't sleep to have a beer and I asked him to charge it to my room and they said they do not do that and I had to come back to the room and get my credit card. I don't want to go back because my husband was sleep and I don't want to disturb him but I found that odd that they cannot charge a beer in your room. Even though I was sitting in the lobby and I told them I'm hungry stuff did not care. They went back and forth to the fridge getting all the beverages they wanted in potato chips and Etc for themselves and giggling and laughing which was another low type of hospitality. I was the manager I would offer my guest a beer and a potato chips for example and I would ask them to pay within checkout. That is hospitality"

"I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully cared for. The cleanliness stood out immediately. Every space, from the rooms to the dining areas, was spotless and beautifully maintained. It created a sense of calm and comfort that made it easy to relax. The staff were exceptional. Kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, they made the entire experience feel personal without ever being intrusive. Their hospitality added something special to the stay. The food was outstanding. Dinner was rich, flavorful, and beautifully presented, and breakfast was just as impressive, with fresh, high-quality options that made for a perfect start to the day. Each meal felt intentional and well-crafted. And then there are the views. Whether looking out from the window in the early morning light or watching the sunset settle over the surrounding landscape, the setting is simply beautiful. It is peaceful, scenic, and deeply restorative. This is a place I would return to without hesitation, and one I would highly recommend to anyone looking for comfort, quality, and a truly memorable experience."

"Expedia fails to protect its customers when the service is not delivered as expected. During our stay, renovation work started directly above our room at 7:00 a.m. without any prior notice. The noise was extremely loud, woke us up immediately, and made it impossible to return to sleep. This significantly impacted our stay and our ability to use the room for its primary purpose. This was meant to be a short vacation to rest, but instead it was disrupted in a way that made it impossible to relax. We reported the issue to reception as soon as it opened at 8:00 a.m., after trying unsuccessfully to rest for an hour. The solutions offered were not practical, as the disruption had already occurred. The hotel staff acknowledged the issue on site and indicated that compensation would be provided. However, after our departure, they refused to offer any compensation or resolution. What is particularly disappointing is how this situation was handled by Expedia. Despite clear evidence of a service failure, the case was treated as a standard cancellation request rather than “service not provided as expected.” The case was closed based solely on the property’s response, without addressing the actual issue. As the issue remains unresolved, I have initiated a chargeback process with my bank due to the failure to provide the service as expected."

"Really good value hotel, especially for a solo traveller. Room was a decent size and was clean, staff were very helpful. Car park was a decent size but some of the parking was atrocious so I couldn’t always get a space. Only thing I would change is having a kettle - I did miss morning teas! "
