Resort was clean - staff friendly and hard working. Food was good - Indian restaurant not so good, quality of food there and decoration was poor. Loved the fresh omelette and fresh pasta options and everyday meat, fish being prepared in front of you. Salads were good - lots of variety but we avoided the ones that looked like 'left overs'. Desert not to my taste / would like some ice cream offering, should be a bar station in restaurant so waiters not making a long journey to get drinks. Didn't eat At beach as food there was basic - chips and meat. We loved the Pirate Hut at the beach for shishah and tea to play chess and listen to waves. Have to fill up fridge with bottled water - this should be filled daily . My son was unwell one night and no water in fridge . When i asked at reception they said it was our duty but I think cleaning staff could easily replace water. Also strict on returning door key and towel keys at check out so don't lose. Some confusion over tax / costs at hotel ATM. ATM near taxi desk apparently costs more than ATM tucked near entrance to buffet restaurant. We loved the animation team - beach volleyball and stretching / voga, aqua aerobics was fun. A bit far away from marina and outside the free pick up zone for most activities on get your guide. Cheaper to book these online as opposed to at resort. Not many English there - nice family resort. Thank you

Staff and facilities were great

The hotel, pools, beach, and spa are all great! I had some excellent massages. The manicure and pedicure was not good. The therapist even cut my finger quite deep that it was bleeding. The bed is very comfortable and the A/C works really well in the rooms. the room is very big and very nice. Except the carpet, which was stained. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. WIFI is ok but not great. It wasn't possible to stream Video correctly. I had some issues with the food unfortunately. I got severe stomach cramps after 3 seperate dinners in their restaurants (Matsu, Masala and the new years eve buffet) I only ate or drank at the hotel the whole week I was there. The food didn't taste bad so I guess it was some bacteria or something not clean. This new areas Sahl Hasheesh is a bit empty still. It's being developed. So there aren't that many non-hotel guests around. It's a bit eery walking along the beach at night. Bit of ghost town. You don't hear the construction from the hotel which is good. I could leave my belongings on the beach chairs and go for a swim.

The resort is huge, quite, big swimming pool, clean room and all inclusive. The staff are great from the reception met Mr Abdallah who addressed our needs. Amr supervise second floor room cleaning and supply who is also great. Has 4 restaurants a la carte. The best one is Vida Latino has Sea food, very delicious and provide you with shawarma cut fresh at your table under the service of Abonob who is a pro in service. The beach shuttle every one hour takes 10 minutes, large area to swim white sand and they provide you with drinks, beer and snacks right from the beach bar. The food in general is very good but we recommend adding a bit of spicy flavor or medium salt as some meals contain nothing, not even salt. We had 2 rooms for 2 days that we enjoyed it to the full and what really touched us is that at the check out they provided us with lunch bag, fruits & water for each person.
