Excellent and beautiful hotel, unfortunately terrible location in the center of Dallas with too much congestion, slow valets, noise at night and too many vagrants. I do love the chain however I will continue to stay at Thompson properties.

We had a wonderful stay at the Thompson Dallas. The hotel is extremely beautiful and the staff are always friendly and attentive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area, looking for amazing service in a central location.

The girl at the pool bar had a bit of an attitude and the valet takes forever to bring your car but other than that a great stay everyone else was so nice and helpful and made my stay very smooth.

My stay was okay, but this isn’t a true 5-star property. It’s more like a 3-4 star hotel, with no luxury amenities or special services you’d expect at a higher-end place. The rooms and public spaces show noticeable wear and could use a refresh. The hotel shares the property with a residence, so some areas are off-limits, and the pool is shared too. The pool area wasn’t well maintained, with leftover food and drinks around. On the plus side, the room was comfortable, and the TV had streaming. However, the walls are very thin, and noise from the halls kept me up, especially with a group of guests coming and going all night. The area around the hotel also wasn’t very clean, with quite a bit of trash and a large homeless presence nearby. Overall, it’s a decent stay if you expect a solid 3-star experience, but it doesn’t match a 5-star listing.

I love my room and the amazing view I had of downtown, the entire wall was windows, Beautiful. I love the mini bar stocked up even though I did not use much of it, but nice to know it was there if I did need anything. Great Large TV, Loved and would be back again

Great location and secure. Great gym!!!!! and pool area. Definitely can relax. Room was on the smaller size, no desk if you need to get work done. Nice bathroom. No iron board but had a handheld steamer although awkward with no hanging area near an outlet. Nice, comfortable with restaurants all nearby.

The pool was great. The restaurants were top notch. Staff was friendly and helpful. Use of the house car was such an added treat. The only negative was that the breakfast room service started too late as well as coffee service for a downtown hotel in a big city. I would definitely stay at the Thompson again.

The hotel is lovely with uniquely elegant decor and staff is attentive. The location is convenient to downtown. The premium king room is well appointed, but not a great value for the nightly rate. Noise was an issue, we could easily hear the elevator, our neighbors, and people in the hallway.

The lobby and room were beautiful. The room was quiet, comfortable, and spacious. The only reason for the power score was that the pool was so cold it wasn't even usable (we were under the assumption that the pool was heated) which was great disappointment for our kids.
