Top Dalmatia Hotel Reviews
Valamar Lacroma Hotel
8/10 Good
"Sweet location to escape crowds of old town but a bit isolated. Nice property and rooms but not fancy or elegant, a bit austere for price point. Room smelled of mildew, stairwell of fish. Lacroma is one of multiple Vallara hotels on shared property, originally developed as a government project to build tourism. They have a five-star propery on the water. Lacroma is one of the four-star hotels across a park and set back from it. Lacroma seems intent on reminding you that they are not the five star hotel in the cluster. Some furniture in room is heavily chipped and beat up. Breakfast is robust but not high quality. Poached eggs were invariably overcooked to hard boiled. Fresh fruit never included more than generic melon, which was always cut crudely with pieces of rind left on slices. There was lots of sliced ham and bacon but not a piece of smoked fish in sight despite being in Dubrovnik. Staff were kind and helpful but there are a lot of folks dedicated to selling tours in lobby. Speaking of which, nothing is free. Bottled water is not provided in room. Customer service was inconsistent. At one point, we asked reception if we could get beach towels to take to a neighboring island for a visit. A clerk kindly sent us down to the spa and said they provide them. When we asked at Spa Services, the clerk told us that Reception was wrong and that we have to get them from the pool area. She said this to us across a stack of beach towels on her work area."
Amfora Hvar Grand Beach Resort
8/10 Good
"Check in was very slow for no clear reason. Staff did not point out key aspects of the property. Stairs and layout are not ideal - particularly when group was in different wings. Rooms are tiny. The pool and beach area are lovely and the breakfast offered a range of options with a great view. Given the price, it was not a great value in my opinion."
Hotel Royal Ariston
10/10 Excellent
"The resort was amazing. Room and resort were super clean. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Food at the restaurants on site is really good too. I definitely recommend and will be back!"
Cornaro Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"This was a newer and lovely hotel in Split. The room and bathroom were very spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very kind and reached out a week in advance to see if they could help with any bookings or reservations and ended up securing a spot for our party of 8 the night of our arrival. Breakfast was fantastic and the location in Split was great for walking around. Highly recommend."
Rixos Premium Dubrovnik

Hotel Lapad
8/10 Good
"Breakfast was ok at best but included. The dinner buffet surprisingly good which we had one night. Bed was old and made a lot of noise and there was no shower curtain so water ended up everywhere each time. The whole system of lights and housekeeping, dnd is old and has no instructions on it so several mix ups with that. Great views and historic property."
Hotel Croatia
10/10 Excellent
"Hotel was lovely, excellent facilities and very helpful and friendly staff. The pool was also great but very busy and not enough sun beds to accommodate the demand, however their deck chairs on the rocks and the sunbeds beside the harbour also provided great options. It's in quite a hilly location so need to accept a bit of an uphill walk back or wait for the buggies. Breakfast was very good also. Would definitely recommend."
Radisson Blu Resort & Spa, Split
10/10 Excellent
"Fresh fruits, great variety of cheeses and sweets for breakfast, Spa included, beach and swimming pool bar amazing. Night bar singers great quality and good food"
Hotel Lero
10/10 Excellent
"It was overall terrific! Mia, in reception went out of way to ensure I had a great car service to the airport at 5am and organized a very delicious to go breakfast!"
