"My experience with this resort was horrible. While the serving and maintenance-staff was very attentive and professional. I arrived and was told that my reservation had been switched to their low budget resort. I spoke to multiple people and explained that I booked my reservation with tropical beach resort not with cofresi . The staff ignored me and insisted that it was the same because they were all under the same chain a.k.a. lifestyle. Well, I would like to assure you that it was not. Cofresi is a rundown resort with outdated and dirty rooms. I spent a good part of 24 hours of my 72 hour reservation going back-and-forth with them and telling them that I did not want to be at Cofresi. After 24 hours of going back-and-forth with them they finally switched us to the tropical beach resort. The rooms were clean, but the TV didn’t work the plumbing wasn’t all that great and after spending a day of pleading my case for something that I paid full price for and I didn’t receive I was exhausted and couldn’t really even enjoy myself. The property is beautiful. The views are spectacular, but the resort is not well maintained. This was my first time booking with this resort and it will be my last. My overall experience was terrible moving forward. I will just book with the resorts that I am used to here on the island. "

"Over the past few years, we've vacationed in Punta Cana, CapCana, LaRomana, Juan Dolio, Santo Domingo and Puerto Plata. The staff at Emotions were pleasant and helpful However, the hotel itself was older, dated and badly maintained. The Bathroom roofs leaked, air conditioners didn't work and the overall experience suffered"

"This place was a great stay. Staff is very friendly and caters to your needs. The area is very safe you can get around in golf carts that you can rent very easily. It’s clean and well maintained. & the hotel restaurant serves great food. "

"Great for an older crowd who arent discerning for drink selection or picky about coffee. Not for 25 and under. In order to get decent wine you had to pay which was annoying. "

"We stayed at Blue JackTar Hotel, and surprisingly, it was better than the other two resorts we visited during our trip. The hotel has a great bar and restaurant on-site, and the beachfront location is a huge plus. Being right on the beach made the experience much more enjoyable and relaxing. One unique touch we really liked was the pond with turtles—it was a nice detail and something different to see. Most importantly, the staff was very helpful and attentive, which made a big difference in our overall stay. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely consider staying here again."
