"We had a really lovely stay here. The room was clean, tidy and comfortable and the location was great. It was perfect for our family of four and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A special mention to the lovely host, who was so accommodating and kindly kept the office open later as we arrived after hours. We really appreciated the extra effort, especially after a long day of travelling. Would definitely recommend staying here and would happily stay again!"

"The carpet was stained, The TV was hard to work. There is not enough power points and I did not realise that the fridge was not plugged in anywhere. The front office staff were the only ones I saw and they were excellent."

"We stayed for 3 nights in total and we loved it. The manager was fantastic, quickest and easiest check-in ever! The room was lovely, bright and clean. We had a dog friendly room on the ground floor which had a patio door accessing a lovely grassed area for the dogs to play. Our only critique would be the scent in the room which we found slightly overpowering. We loved the local Canoe Point off leash dog beach and were so impressed by the surrounding amenities. Gladstone marina was another delightful surprise and the Auckland House restaurant was a great recommendation."
