"We really enjoyed our stay at The Mollusk. Stephanie was very responsive throughout our stay and the house was clean, comfortable and well appointed. Our kids especially enjoyed the pool and the short walk to the dock. As noted in the listing, this home is perfect for people who want to get to know local Roatan and explore the island, and don’t need all the fancy comforts of a hotel or resort. We felt it was the perfect spot to access all areas of the island. Highly recommend this spot and really enjoyed our time here!"

"The property is very close to the boarding area for the Aggressor boat. The staff is very friendly and they are good with service in the restaurant. The service is a bit slow, but remember, you are on island time."

"Diamond Vista was the perfect stay for our family of 8 grown ups. We wanted to be away from the touristy West End/Bay, yet close enough to see the entire island. We could be at West End or Camp Bay Beach in 45 minutes. The view from the house was spectacular. Each of us had our own separate (and quiet) spaces. The common areas were large enough to accommodate us all comfortably. The kitchen was SUPER well stocked, a bonus because we ate in a lot. The living room was great for our nightly games (as was the kitchen table). The pool was a daily used feature we all enjoyed. The gardener left us fresh fruit (we were lucky it was mango season). Gail, our contact, was AMAZING! She went above and beyond and made sure we were well taken care of. The only thing to note, is that the beach is not really "swimable". This was totally fine for us because we went on excursions every single day. The cleaning lady that helped us while we were there was really great as well."

"The location of our stay was amazing - BUT we had to fight to get this location after our 1st choice was denied after having already been accepted. Communication with the host was lacking and very stressful. Details should be conveyed in a timely fashion. The pool could have been cleaned more than 2x week. Hydro is costly everywhere. Golf at the BlackPearl is more targeted to the cruises coming in instead of villa guests & members. "

"Highly recommend this house!! Wonderful stay for our group of 8! The home is beautiful, the pool and outdoor area is fantastic, and relaxing on the dock was a highlight. Super clean house and lots of room. We also rented a studio, which worked well for our group.There was a small mildew issue (studio) and the internet was a bit glitchy at times, but the hosts were responsive and did their best to address both.A major highlight was hiring the cooks—Juanita, Sayra, and family. The meals were absolutely delicious and well worth it (bonus: we even got a couple of cooking lessons!). Ever was very helpful with planning before arrival and throughout the week, and Alex took us on a great day trips and to the airport. We felt very welcome and well taken care of—would definitely recommend this family for cooking and planning any outings/tours!"

"Truly the most beautiful beach we saw during our entire time on the island. This private island is absolutely gorgeous. The beach alone makes it worth the visit. The rooms could use some updating, and the food felt more like filler food than anything memorable. That said, the drinks kept coming and the beach was easily the best we experienced anywhere on the island. If you want to avoid crowds and simply enjoy a stunning beach in a peaceful setting, this resort is a great choice. Unfortunately, you will need to wait for them to rebuild. The resort actually burned to the ground the same day we checked out. Quite a shocking end to an otherwise beautiful stay."
