An annual tradition :)
This is our second year coming to the farm and we love it. Our 4-year old brings up this place at least once a month, and he was delighted to visit again and hike at the nearby state parks and “help” with farm chores. Richie and Divella Gray are so welcoming, friendly, generous, and patient with our boys. The farm is a beautiful and peaceful getaway. A great place to relax and upwind. Highly recommended for families and for couples or friends needing an escape. Also, the beef R&D sell is delicious… bring some cash so you can take home a couple steaks :) We’ll see you next year!

Last minute getaway
We were looking for a last minute overnight place to stay while our daughter was home for Spring Break. We were going to Petit Jean Park for the day and stayed for one night. My wife found the farm cottage and it was exactly what she wanted except she wanted to stay longer. The cottage is a great place and on the farm made it even better. The owners are the kind of people you want as your neighbors. We are already looking forward to going back and enjoying time away. Thank you Divella for your hospitality and a great place to stay.

Charming and Great Location
What a charming and relaxing home! The hosts were so friendly, generous to share their farm eggs and beef, and also invited us to chore with them which my boys (7 and 10) loved. The home is conveniently located near several state parks and recreational activities. Highly recommend staying here. We hope to return!

My granddaughter and I stayed for her 17th birthday weekend. The cabin was cozy and perfect. We loved that the owners provided fresh eggs and ground beef. We went hiking at Petit Jean and at Mt Nebo state parks. It was a short drive to either state park. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Paradise lives on Hwy 154
I only live about 20 miles away, but a remodel has stolen all my suitable guest space. The Farm Cottage to the rescue! Our retreat was peaceful and it couldn’t have been any more cozy. Kitchen, bathroom, wifi, beds, and the house itself gave everything we needed. I hope to return.

This cottage was the perfect place to land during our family reunion. The cottage is clean, well appointed, and stocked with essentials. The surrounding farm is quaint and peaceful. The hosts are quick to respond to communication and eager to assist with anything you might need. We very much appreciated the fresh beef and eggs that were waiting for us upon arrival. We look forward to our next stay here at the end of the year!

This cottage was perfect! We stay at VRBOs all over the country and this was one of our best rentals ever. The location was a perfect home base for us to explore all of central AR. The farm cottage was quiet, homey and welcoming and had EVERYTHING we could want. We especially appreciated the ground beef and fresh eggs, but also plenty of plates, utensils, cooking equip., towels, everything! Divella (the host) was very timely and efficient in communicating with us as well. We wished we hadn’t packed our itinerary so fully and would have had more time to enjoy the cottage! Every detail was taken care of. The bed was very comfortable, plenty of living space, seasonal decorations, a delightful porch for morning coffee and evening relaxing. Thanks so much, Divella!!!

We loved the property and it was the vacation we needed. The kitchen was equipped with multiple pots & pans, every utensil you could need & there was also both a carafe coffee pot & kurig. The house is in a good location to visit Petit Jean and Magazine Mountain state parks. we loved the fresh eggs and ground beef that was given to us. The house had everything needed for our stay and was also close to town, for groceries and dining. We would return for another stay.

A Hidden Gem!
My wife and I had planned to attend the big annual antique car swap meet/show at Petit Jean State Park, but all cabins and rooms at the Lodge were filled long beforehand. I felt a tad disappointed that we had to "settle for" a nearby VRBO property. I needn't have been! The Farm Cottage is a hidden gem: comfortable, large and roomy, squeaky-clean, and serenely peaceful and quiet. We look forward to staying there again, and I highly recommend it to all.

This is a farm house on a operating cattle ranch that had everything we wanted. The owners were very nice and helpful. We loved our time there and wish we had more than 3 nights. I would highly recommend hiking in Petite Jean mountain and Mount Nebo State park which is on top of a mountain.

Perfect country cabin near Petit Jean State Park!
My best friend from kindergarten and I booked this farm cabin for a “turning 60” girls’ getaway. The cabin was adorable, roomy, and super comfortable, with many added touches, including Easter bunnies and farm-fresh eggs, and hamburger! The cabin was super clean and well-stocked. The front porch was great for sipping coffee while rocking and watching the cattle across the field. As an added bonus, the cabin was very convenient to Petit Jean State Park and Darndanelle.

A wonderful cottage in the middle of a farm made comfortable by genuinely warm and accommodating hosts. We, especially the kids loved the farm. It was a joy waking to the cattle moos! We enjoyed every bit of it and got to visit all the hiking places in proximity (Mt. Nebo, Petit Jean) we wanted to.

My brother and I came over from Asheville, NC to visit friends and spend time at Holla Bend National Wildlife Refuge and Petit Jean State Park. The Farm Cabin was good sized and very comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we come back to the area.

We loved this old farmhouse. It was clean, comfortable and felt like home right away. The farm fresh eggs and beef the owners left us added to that welcoming feeling! We also enjoyed the area and spent a good deal of time at Holla Bend where we saw some scissor-tailed flycatchers and a couple of bald eagles. Would recommend!

Absolutely Delightful Cottage Near Mt. Nebo
The Farm Cottage was exactly as described. It was clean and neat. The owners/hosts were very welcoming and hospitable. We enjoyed visiting with them and learning about the farm. I cannot find the right words to say how much I enjoyed our stay at this little farm house cottage. It was so picturesque and how a real country farm cottage should be. I love how homey and welcoming it feels and how you can just sit and relax on the front porch and enjoy the peace and quiet. I hope I can come and stay again in the near future.
