Dog-friendly beach house w/ stunning water views, wrap-around decks & a loft
6/10 Okay
"The house was in a great location on the beach; however, access was difficult as it is in a gated community with only 1 key card. With multiple family members coming and going it was a chore to make sure someone was around to let people in. Additionally, house wasn't very clean. The living room rug reeked of cat urine and there were clumps of pet hair in random corners. We bought air fresheners and carpet cleaner ourselves to help with the smell. This property is in a fantastic location with great views but don't expect an updated, spotless house."
"Sea of Love is beautifully designed and decorated, and the furnishings are nice. The floor-plan is great with the large gathering area in the center and instant unobstructed views of the beach right from the main road entry. The bedrooms are arranged in a unique pattern that make each feel private. I liked that the hallway with the shared bath and the back king BR are on the side rather than at the doorway. Having 4 baths is a luxury. The boardwalk to the beach over the dunes and all the wood decking and large picnic table are immaculate. Heating and cooling worked perfectly. Sunsets are colorful and visible from the house. The hosts are helpful, kind, and replied to questions quickly."
"The stay at Henry’s House was more than we had hoped for. It was peaceful and quaint! Sitting in the screened in porch area was one of our favorite things about it where we gathered and just enjoyed to outdoors. The weather was perfect to be either in the shade or out under the canopy of trees. We did not want or need anything else as everything was provided for our stay other than our meals, which we enjoyed on the island. I would recommend it here 10 out of 10 times and would stay here again. It captured a world on its own and was a lovely sanctuary away from reality for a spell. I can’t say enough positive things about Henry’s House."
