"We could walk to UC Davis, my granddaughter is starting there this fall and it was very easy to get to her dorm. It was very convenient to stay at this clean and safe hotel."

"We were a group of 10 in town for a reunion. When our VRBO cancelled our reservation THE DAY before we arrived, we had to scatter all over Davis to find a reservation SOMEWHERE ( it was also UCD move-in weekend, so it was very challenging to find a place to stay). Three of us ended up here at LaQuinta. As disappointed as we were that our group couldn’t be together, our stay at LaQuinta absolutely turned our disappointment into cheer. The woman at the front desk who checked us in (Alicia) was so kind and sympathetic to our plight, and got us rooms near each other. Our room was clean, and well-appointed for what we needed. The beds were VERY comfortable. The A/C kept us cool and content in the 95 degree heat. Ample free parking. Remarkably quiet, even though our room faced the interstate. Thank you LaQuinta for your ability to accommodate us so nicely at the last moment."

"Really nice and frendly staff. Area is good to walk around. Very close to the Golden 1 for concerts. Very convenient. And close to restaurants and bars at the old town Sacramento. Good to getting a bit and eat or drinks and checking out the historical stuff. "

"Clean hotel with a cool atmosphere. You can tell it’s an older building that’s been remodeled. Cool theme throughout, a couple nice bars/restaurants, and very friendly staff. Clean room, decent water pressure, comfortable bed, ac unit worked good. We were not disturbed by any noise during the night. Plan to pay $47 a night for overnight valet and loading/unloading/parking is a breeze. "

"Clean and spacious room, easy parking options comfortable beds. Centrally located to everything around Davis and was a 6 minute drive to campus. They have bike rentals that you can rent to go around town. Highly recommended this place if youre moving in your kid to UC Davis and have the whole family with you! "
