This property is an excellent choice when visiting the area. The house was clean, well appointed, and everything was updated. We received clear and prompt communication from the host, which made the stay even better. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in the area.
Weekend trip to Davis and surrounding areas. The home is located on the main strip of Davis with all the restaurants and shops in walking distance. It was beautiful and very comfortable. Would 100% book again if coming to the area.
Above and beyond! Great find in downtown Davis and very quiet. Comfy beds, over sized towels, plenty of blankets! Just a few things that made our stay enjoyable. Can’t wait to go back- hoping for better weather
Just came back from a great time in Davis, WV - the townhouse was just as advertised and so central to all of the hiking we wanted to do and everything we could need. The owner was super responsive and the house was well stocked. The town is small but everyone was so friendly and the drive in was gorgeous. We can’t wait to go back.
We had a great time!! Location was perfect for walking around town but was still quiet and relaxing. We weren’t inside much since it was so beautiful outside but when inside it was very comfortable. Will definitely stay again!
This property has a great location in downtown Davis. The house was stocked with everything you would need for a comfortable stay. Instructions and communications with the owner is excellent. I would recommend!
This house was exactly what our family of 4 and our dog needed for our hiking trip. The place was clean, well stocked and conveniently located in downtown Davis. We were able to get to Blackwater Falls State Park and the neighboring town of Thomas within a few minutes. Would definitely stay here again.
We had such a great time! The property is conveniently located in the middle of Davis, near lots of stuff to do! The house was clean and had everything that we needed! Would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back!
Great weekend place and bigger than this couple used
Loved the location. We walked to the ale house and Italian restaurant in March weather that was a bit chilly. We saw artist galleries and ate brunch and dinner at the nearby town of Thomas, and of course we walked by the nearby beautiful Blackwater Falls. The walk-in closets and cozy gas fireplace were especially nice features of the Vrbo, and we loved the wooden floors and ceilings. Very clean and nice gas stove to boot!
Great location near restaurants, shopping, etc. in downtown Davis. Short drive to all the attractions in the area. Property management was responsive and easy to communicate with. Some parts of the property had a little wear and tear, for example, the recliner parts of the sofa no longer work, but the property overall was well cleaned and well equipped.
Would recommend and would consider staying again.
This property was perfect for our family of 5, 2 adults 3 teens. It was very well stocked with everything we needed, and even had extra towels and bedding. It is right downtowns Davis and you can walk almost everywhere. During spring break not everything was open, but we found plenty to do still. There is some great hiking around here with breathtaking views. Would definitely stay here again!!
This townhouse was very clean, well-stocked with all provisions & very convenient to hiking trails and eateries. I have stayed in larger houses, but none so well kept. The rooms were well-decorated, the beds were very comfortable and kitchen was stocked with almost everything that you would need to prepare home meals. I will definitely be back and oh yeah, my dog loved it too.
Very nice home right in the heart of Davis. One of the cleanest rentals I have ever stayed in. The kitchen had everything that you would need. The bathrooms were stocked too. Several restaurants and other establishments were just steps away. We now know where we can go when visiting our family in Davis. Thank you Cameron for allowing us to stay and we look forward to our next visit.
The house was clean and had a very well stocked kitchen. The beds were comfortable. Right next to cute down town walking distance to restaurants. One challenge was the parking. I felt the owner was not clear about where to park and how to turn around to avoid upset neighbor. This led to a set of texts with the owner where we tried to clarify rules but did not get clarity. Ending with their frustration and me feeling this interaction was unpleasant
Previously, we always stayed in homes in Canaan Valley, however as the rental rates skyrocketed, we decided to stay in Davis. We were glad we did. The ease of walking to breakfast and dinner was refreshing.
The house itself was perfectly situated, a bargain at the price and very well equipped.
Two caveats. There are no bedrooms on the first floor so the stairs might be daunting for physically challenged guests.
Parking is a little tight for more than one car.
Barring these two things, this rental is perfect, and we would recommend this house to anyone visiting the area!
It was quite warm and comfortable, even with the extremely cold temperatures during part of our stay. Even though it was located close to the main street, we found it to be quiet. The host checked with us during our stay and was quite responsive to our questions.
