Appaus Wetu (Wampanoag for "Moon Home") is Winterhaven 69

Take a pause at "Moon Home" where your clocks seem to run a little slower and the wildlife still has the right of way. Enjoy mountain flora and fauna year-round-hiking, biking and ski trails immediately outside your door! Entertain friends and family in the open kitchen to the living and dining areas with soaring cathedral ceilings and river stone fireplace. Or enjoy an al fresco meal by grilling on the wrap around deck and toasting marshmallows over the firepit. Enjoy a romantic moonlit hot tub or family game night with pool table and arcade game. Appaus Wetu has a wonderful deck with hot tub, grill and steps right up to Twister trail directly up from the intersection of Winterset Ski Trail. These trails are great for ski season in winter and trail hiking in summer and fall. Jacuzzi tub in master bath; Wi-Fi; DirectTV Premier Package. Non-smoking. 4-wheel drive required in winter.
Close to all attractions including Canaan Valley Resort and Conference Center, Blackwater Falls State Park, Whitegrass Ski Area, Dolly Sods, and much more.

Don't forget to bring your pooch as this home is pet friendly! $70 per pet fee required.
