Fumbled the ball leading to a lower score

Hotel was super convenient for the Davos congress centre, comfortable, clean, with a good buffet breakfast The only reason it loss a star was the TV was not tuned, remote didn’t work and thus was no use and it took two requests on two days to get it fixed.

UNACCEPTABLE STAY AT KONGRESS HOTEL DAVOS

Unacceptable Experience at Kongress Hotel Davos Our stay at Kongress Hotel Davos was unacceptable. As frequent guests at 4- and 5-star hotels, we expect high standards, but this experience fell far below expectations. Upon arrival, everything seemed fine, but after a day of skiing, the situation became unbearable. We wanted to leave the first night but had to wait for a manager in the morning. · No service was provided. Both restaurants were closed at 18:00, with no café or room service available. · The hallways were chaotic, with intoxicated guests screaming and blocking corridors with a baggage trolley all night, raising serious security concerns. · The room was poorly maintained—dirty carpet, weak shower pressure, and thin, low-quality towels. Water leaked from the shower, flooding the floor. · The toilet paper holder was broken. The small window made the room feel claustrophobic. · The in-room iPad service system did not work, and staff dismissively told us, “Too bad.” · A receptionist shockingly stated that Davos is “not a good place” with “nothing to do” and “nowhere to eat.” · The bed was uncomfortably hard, and when we sought assistance, staff refused to help. This was one of our worst hotel experiences ☹️

4 Tage Flucht vor der Hitze im Tal

Alles tip-top. Freundliches Personal beim Check in; sauberes Zimmer; zentral gelegen (Migros und Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel); dicke Wände (keine lauten Nachbarn); kleiner aber ausreichender Balkon (ich hatte Abendsonne); Zürich 35°; Davos 26° (perfekt!)

Schönes, sehr zentral gelegenes Hotel

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt im Kongress Hotel. Der Service hat sich sehr individuell (nach einem unglücklichen Skiunfall) um uns gekümmert. Unser Zimmer war modern eingerichtet, mit einem tollen Balkon. Das Frühstückbuffet war sehr gut. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Gutes 4 Stern Hotel mitten in Davos

Das Zimmer war gross, geräumig und wurde vor kurzem renoviert. Alles war sauber und die Angestellten an der Reception freundlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war ok für ein 4 Stern Hotel, aber auch nicht zu üppig.

I was only staying for 1 night, in order to get an early start the next day. The staff was very friendly, and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was also reasonably well appointed. Unfortunately, the Ski-room/Boot locker and Sauna were disappointingly small, and there was an ever-present smell of smoking throughout the building.

Schönes Zimmer, gutes Frühstück

Zimmer und Frühstück waren toll. Der Service etwas umständlich und man merkte dass anfang Saison noch nicht alles eingespielt war, am Ende hat dann aber doch das meiste geklappt.
