"If you want a place that has character this is it. On a farm away from city noises. Everything you need is within a 10 minute drive. Dirk has lots of information. I enjoyed my stay. Read the fine print. Ad states no hidden fees but I was charged for heating and bedsheets. "

"Parking was excellent, plenty of space on spacious drive. Downstairs had a bathroom, and a big communal room, sitting, dining and kitchen. Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen. It was all excellent quality and we appreciated the lovely wine glasses. The combo oven took a bit of getting used to but once mastered it worked well. Plenty of hot water. Heating was perfect. Towels were plentiful and good quality. Beds were good but one person found them to be quite hard. Pillows were not like home, square and more solid than we are used to. Bedding quality was good. Duvets nice and warm. We did find the mirrors were quite high and hooks on the back of the doors would have been useful. But these are minor points. "

"Frances, the owner, greeted us on our arrival. He gave us a tour of the accommodation and also a history lesson of the town and surrounding area during the wars. The local beers oeft in the fridge was a very nice touch"
