"The reason I gave four stars was because the place is old and had signs of upkeep needed. Being from Florida myself, I understand what the beach does to buildings and how quickly they go into disarray. With that being said, the place was very clean and maintained for its age. It had a couple different restaurants and two bars open we didn’t use the fifth floor pool, but we did the one that was out on the deck. It was perfect location for all that’s happening in Daytona. I’m not a fan of having to pay $35 a night for parking overnigh across the street but there’s really nowhere else to park because it’s on the beach. You can walk to a lot of other restaurants and the bandshell, which used to have concerts and still does sometimes. We overlooked the beach and it was amazing at sunset and sunrise. It’s great for couples or families. I would totally stay there again. I have nothing bad to say about it and they were very friendly and helpful. Maurice at the front desk was awesome."
